@Tfp Tim I really cannot see it selling for that no doubt a deal can be had with it partly do you think because it came from the auctions ? Has a sunroof which IMO adds to the desirability but not the value, I know that Lexus Cheltenham will be getting 2 GsF’s in the not so distant future and one of them is likely to be £34995......... @Comedian The closest I came to getting mine anything like that was after carrying out your explicit instructions....... And achieved this........ but with Mrs Rat looking on as kept slowly rubbing the ‘F’s bottom to complete the work...... I could tell from her expression that it was time to go in for my tea......🤦‍♂️ 🐀

My old ISF went through these auctions recently and again failed to sell, unfortunately whilst she was in the compound some undesirable decided to steal the exhaust tips and associared fittings from her and did a fair bit of damage to the rear valance. All been replaced now but maybe a heads up to ISF owners just in case the low life are a bit tuned in to some parts now and the costs. Big Rat

@LiggyL Ryan unless Colin has changed his forum name I knew him as @Chuckie478 really nice guy obviously since the car had gone he hasn’t posted much. He bought the car from Lexus Bristol and it is a nice one serviced by them and he was handy with the spanner’s himself. He is still regular at meets dispute going over to Ze Germans. I can always pm you pictures and the odd video of the car from the last couple of years. Big Rat

@Womble72 Paul the intake yes I’ve heard many say it’s a bit of a much of a muchiness..... Look forward to hearing the exhaust 👍 The isF numbers yes I put up about the Mesa Red’s a while back I’ll have another look at the others and do a break down. Im close to having 140 reg numbers now for the IsF 👍 🐀

@Womble72 Paul sorry duff gen it’s not the exhaust that’s in the boot it’s the standard intake as the car has a K & N. 🐀

@tomRCFcarbon Good post couldn’t put it better myself, for something as simple as a puncture it’s something you can resolve yourself in a relatively short space of time, in the majority of cases. Having to wait an unknown amount of time for a recovery is that an unknown............. Big Rat

@fuddymucker I’ve been banging on about the spare wheel situation for our cars it is a mistake not having one and frankly Lexus have been completely useless as regards this, many other markets get one I’ve proved it. I wonder if the one from yours will fit ours 🤔 Big Rat

It’s not all good news about the Carbon car hire aspect though, My research has led to another aspect of this I’ll start another thread when I’ve time. 🐀

So the Blue Rcf at Ipswich has sold, that was quick a lot of interest in it over the weekend resulted in the sale. My research has revealed that the plate on the car was the original number L88 RCF from new made it a little difficult to establish. My research has also revealed that the White Carbon Rcf GU15URV in the advertising picture was eventually sold to a performance hire car company to be hired out on a weekly/weekend basis to members of the public and so on. @tomRCFcarbon Evening Tom of the 24 Carbons left according to ‘How many are left’ 23 are registered and one is SORN. 1 was written off this year and I have the original/ permanent registration numbers of 21 cars so far. The most numerous colour of those I know about is White. I have the reg numbers of 7 so far. Rumour has it that the SORN car is a Black Carbon with less than 40 miles. Big Rat

@Stuno1 Yes it’s funny mines registered the same day as this one but it’s a 16 plate 🙄 The values who knows I’ve no intention of jumping out of mine so not bothered at this time it’s only done 14k Anyway. No rush for you I guess there’s always going to be something to choose 👍 🐀
