  1. Is this the first one to dip below £35k, could a deal below that be had ? https://usedcars.lexus.co.uk/en/used-lexus/Lexus/GS-50-F-4dr-Saloon/details-hkbsau4 Big Rat
  2. @Stuno1 Yes that would make sense awaiting the prices of some of the other parts speaking with them tomorrow 👍 Big Rat
  3. @Nikki Excellent there’s a few on here you should go car shopping with then 😂 Yep they are a great car just so different from the herds of Audi Rs and C class Mercedes-AMG and so on..... nice to be different 👍 Big Rat
  4. @Stuno1 Thanx yes matey according to the parts dept guy the code says it’s black as well, no doubt you’ve noticed as I have that you can’t tell for definitely from pictures. Big Rat
  5. @seangrant50 Sean sorry to see that yes it’s a pain, if you contact @Toothy or @Rusty Crobar they’ve both done there cars recently. It was a group buy organised by @Peter P18 Big Rat
  6. @Bluethunder Thanx Nean appreciate that, yes it’s either a wrap or replace the trim as it’s the the same used on the Rc Black Edition it’s not that expensive either, bother sides with vat and fitting £166.40 Big Rat
  7. @K2HKS Yes if you gel with it and find it manageable with the family then why not extend the ownership for a while, yes the Gsf is a fine car and I personally believe in some ways superior to the Rcf. Big Rat
  8. @K2HKS Not cheap but there again the best rarely are, so once the Rcf has gone have you something else in mind another Lexus perhaps? Big Rat
  9. @K2HKS Yes they are a fantastic bunch no doubt about it, same tyres as mine again one of the best IMO 👍 Big Rat
  10. @Comedian Thanx Matey appreciate that, I’ve looked at my little collection of stuff none of which seems suitable..... Big Rat
  11. @Mattmech Yes I agree with you I prefer it myself, I was looking at it from past use I guess it suited the previous car I had it on the 911. But this time I was wrong using the yellow, the Orange really does look fantastic and is linked in with the indicators. Big Rat
  12. @Nikki You are right about the Orange £40k car Nikki...... I was watching the Grey car receiving some work at Lexus Cheltenham last Thursday as well.......... Hooe you are enjoying yours Big Rst
  13. Some of you may remember I posted up pictures of my Rcf a month or so ago having had the wheels refurbed and finished in Matt black and the calliper repainted in Brembo Yellow. Well there was a paint reaction issue with callipers which necessitated it going back to Lexus Cheltenham for them to be removed and sent off again to be done, to cut a long story short unfortunately in the paint removal process used all four callipers received damage to the piston seats. A decision was made to simply supply and fit all new callipers and pads at Lexus expense rather to attempt further work to rectify as all reading this can imagine this is not exactly cheap. It is to the credit of all concerned at the dealership DP Tim Huxley, Service Manager Sam Holdway and techie Paul for resolving the matter for me, I was also giving the choice of OEM Rcf Black as per the Originals or the Orange from a GSF, I went with the Orange. For those who didn’t know the part numbers are exactly the same for all components with just the paint code that differs, I’m immensely pleased with the work and the look. Big Rat
  14. I know it’s not in the UK but looks impressive all the same, that isn’t an Orange Carbon with a sunroof is it ? Must be an Orange car with a wrap as I didn’t think you could fit one to the carbon roof. Big Rat
  15. @Cezar B The end of the month is approaching fast matey........the long range forecasts for that weekend is looking good, let’s hope it stays that way 👍 Big Rat
  16. @Cezar B Ooh look pretty impressive paint and out of proportion protrusions.........👍 Big Rat
  17. @Stuno1 Yes that’s a considerable period of time @Warrington guy Dave went to see it twice last year and they were simply full of excuses as to why the car wasn’t available and he gave up. I have information on the car but it’s not for an open forum just if someone off here was to consider it they’d be well served in speaking to me first. Big Rat
  18. @NothernDan Dan that’s right mate we had to box in that M4 so we could get a head start.........🤗 Big Rat
  19. @NothernDan Lexus Derby just so happens me and @Warrington guy Dave we’re there last Thursday to meet up.... nice place.... before we had a blast over to Lincolnshire. To meet up with @Comedian 😁 Big Rat
  20. @MNMJ That’s the thing about colours I had a 3litre Capri back in the day called Signal Orange And hardly anyone liked that then..... But this on an Rcf especially a Carbon I think is fantastic, I’ve seen it many times in the flesh looks great..... but and I’m thinking for some it may be a big but is paint repair. There are those more knowledgeable than me like @Comedianwho has had recent experience with this, where as I’m just plain black 😏 Big Rat
  21. I knew there was another one somewhere so this has come on sale at Lexus Chester........ https://usedcars.lexus.co.uk/en/used-lexus/Lexus/RC-F/Carbon-50-u3bsdg7 No pictures of it as yet but not to be confused with this one which has been for sale for 2 years........ Big Rat
  22. @Northern isf Adrian is a top bloke he prepped the gt86 that the Tim Huxley the DP at Lexus Cheltenham raced, and they supply the TRD parts from japan for many of the Lexus line up. I had a gt86 for a couple of weeks whilst mine was in for some work loved it....... Big Rat
  23. @Northern isf Looks interesting Wayne and the car does look great, I’ve banged on many times in the last few years about Adrian and Fensport, the response shall we say hasn’t always been receptive on the forum which is a shame. I too have spoken with them at length a number of times and found them both knowledgeable and helpful. They list a fair few parts still for the IsF Adrian ran an isF himself for quite some time with a few mods and it’s been highlighted on here as well, someone on here may even her. They do some really impressive stuff with gt86’s as well. Big Rat
  24. My favourite movie of his is without doubt Sharky’s Machine look it up guys and have a watch you won’t be disappointed Big Rat
  25. @Rusty Crobar I like that phrase I shall use it myself if I ever get stopped by the zee policeman.......” Officer me speeding no no no I was just driving recreationally “ 🐀
