  1. @Flytvr Go on then yours is, and as they say I will if you will 😂 🐀
  2. @emjay82 Ah yes I get it now but as a married man 'thriller' isn't something one increasingly experiences as the ears roll by, but I take your point 😏 🐀
  3. @Farqui Wasn't trying to be pedantic matey I must of missed the full title of the websites mantra 😉 Yep many other Japanese cars have 'made it' so to speak and I know Lexus is a premium brand but the performance aspect is their and I've read a considerable amount about the amount of development and engineering gone into 'F' cars even had a fair bit of Japanese translated 😳 I am a firm believer in the worth of the cars as regards further promotion what's not to like about them what have us owners got to lose 👍 🐀
  4. I think applying the magazine title per say is probably not quite right for the isF but it's a performance saloon, no longer made and an updated ISF in the present incarnation of the IS was not produced. There are only a little over 200 in the country and tens of thousands of M3's and C63. So I personally see no harm in raising its profile to the greater car chosen public a second time around stranger things have happened after all just look at that muppet in the White House 😂 Big Rat
  5. @Warrington guy I'm not so sure matey it sounds like standard magazine practice, I've bought a few of these mags and quite like it. Its a start at raising the profile of the cars popularity, although I FULLY accept it depends on the journalistic jiggey pokey but the ones I've read have been pretty balanced, who's up for it ? Big Rat
  6. @Pecker A friend had a 130 model of this he was so tired of it, when he travelled on the now defunct Hook of Holland to Harwich ferry he left it on board and went back home on the train 😂 🐀
  7. @Linas.P All children..... period 😂 🐀
  8. @MNMJ Right on both counts 👍 🐀
  9. A great list there but you can sleep safe in the knowledge you took the right family priority decisions but still able to indulge with the boys toys we all love so much. The Porsche world is a very complicated one, we're always one step behind unless finance is no object, I say we as they no longer have appeal for me had a couple of Boxster S 996 GT3 996Turbo and 4S. Yes you are right hindsight is a wonderful thing. Big Rat
  10. @emjay82 Ok I see but pray do tell us what you did see , I'm sure we're all curious 😂 🐀
  11. @Flytvr Nah you know you love me really, in a non broke back way of course 😉 🐀
  12. I think @emjay82 should be wary of these encounters you know, as Bucks taxis have an office at 'Broke buck mountain' or is it 'broke butt mountain ' 😊 🐀
  13. @NemesisUK Very nice I'm impressed, the closest I got to was hiring a Vauxhall Chevanne, what a piece of s... that was. 🐀
  14. An example of the dirty engine sound 😂
  15. @MNMJ I remembered when they raced these, and a journalist overheard a comment from a team member who said words to the effect 'racing these is just as sensible as burning piles of £20.00 notes and shoving the same continually into the fire ' They did sound good though 😏 Big Rat
  16. @Flytvr They still produce the product the development the parts etc that go wrong in the first place due to crap quality poor tolerances and lack of engineering pride in the first place, must not dismiss this aspect. 😊 🐀
  17. @Corrado Same as your observations Matey, once updated it was fine, almost as good as the isF. None of the issues he had ever returned, the later one is definitely a good box. As you have the estate I would of done the same coupe and saloon just a touch gangsta for me 😏 🐀
  18. @McRattlehead Now you are talking years ago having watched the John Wayne movie McQ his car which they totalled 😳 In the end was a Green Hornet like this I thought then life was incomplete without one, it wasn't to be 🙄 🐀
  19. @rayaans Used to watch these race in Germany against RS3100 Capris, a fantastic battle was usually had which frequently I'm sorry to say was won by BMW, being a Capri fan it was difficult to witness at times but they were the better car on track 🙁 Big Rat
  20. @mikeyv A man after my own heart Fords of that era, compared to most of the competition were just brilliant, had four 3 litre Capris as well as 2.8 Inection's in Capri and Granada manual and autos, my Favourite was a LHD 2.6 V6 Kuglefisher mechanical injection Capri, if I had that now I'd be a very rich man, almost as wealthy as the often pretending to be poor @Flytvr 😂 🐀
  21. @Flytvr Here was tonight's plump investment 😂 Wheres my 'RIOCHA ' gone 😊 🐀
  22. @Womble72 I couldn't agree more a fantastic line up of cars over the years, as we used to say 'they rusted just as fast as they went' Big Rat
  23. @Corrado Nothing major matey his is same age as yours 19" wheels (you have 18?) cracked he's on his 3rd set ! Sunroof rattles never been resolved, gearbox issues a number of software updates resolved it, interior trim problems now resolved. The warranty has been very hit and miss in its response but that's as much to do with the dealership as well. The car is back with them now as the 3rd set of wheels cracked and they refused to replace and had them welded. The car was left after valeting to be picked up in area of the workshop where they were using angle grinders the subsequent fragments pitted all the glass and body work, a decision is shortly to be made the likely outcome is the dealership will buy back the car. Suffice to say Barry's opinion of Mercedes dealers is not printable. When the car was good it was brilliant when problems arose the response by Mercedes was disastrous. Your experience will I'm sure be different. Big Rat
  24. Mk1 escort must have been the slickest shifting manual gearbox ever produced 👍 🐀
  25. @Corrado On a family needs must basis it's a practical alternative except you will need one of these sooner or later 😉 I get to use a mates C63 Coupe regularly and agree with most of your observations, reliable it isn't build quality it hasn't got, some of these can be forgiven for the stupendous engine and he's got an even louder exhaust 😳 Oh the colour is lovely on yours de badging I agree with as well 👍 🐀
