    @Rusty Crobar Russ that's very kind, my concerns though are that your car is personally redlined at 3000 rpm...... you are blissfully unaware what happens therefore at 3600 rpm, the second intake.... no Russ that does not mean 2 slices of coffee cake...... 😂 So you see yours is quiet unassuming.... driven by a man who is patient and thinks 'wheel spinning ' is someone making a political point 😊 Therefore I think @Mark G maybe better qualified 😏 🐀

    Most enjoyable Lee, ah yes fuel consumption track play empties the tank like the sweep of a second hand on a watch, mind you are cars have a tank the size of a thimble 😉 Havent been to the ring for some years, but it really is a most enjoyable experience though somewhat crowded nowadays with a mix of vehicles and abilities that are fraught with dangers when people's bag of talent runs out 😏 So my best time was in a modified Porsche 911 Gt3 with slick/track tyres in the dry came in at 7.47.47 Cant see the appeal of it in the wet guess I'm getting old now 😂 🐀

    I fully accept why people want the Michelin's they are a very good tyre, fitting a larger tyre I also accept to a certain degree for the aesthetics, but I doubt for normal use and even when using the car to its 'full' potential on a public road the differences can be felt. I stick with the standard Bridgestones which I get supply and fitted for £606.00, and use the saved £250.00 odd over the Michelin's for 5 tanks of fuel so I can thrapp the ta ta's off the old girl 😂 Big Rat

    I agree with others damage is unacceptable video/photograph I do it every time my car goes in for service etc, I take a picture of the speedo read out and all four wheels, and the car is not to be taken for a road test unless I'm present. My dealer always complies with my polite but firm requests and we have a good relationship, it's not that I don't trust them it just clarifies the position from the start. Hopefully those that have suffered damage will have it all rectified at the dealers expense. Big Rat

    I had a Focus Rs for a while no spare just gunk, like others I won't run without a spare, I got it all from Ford not cheap Wheel, jack brace, tyre and a different boot mat/trim. Some 10 months later Christmas Eve early evening just got over the Humber bridge and a large bolt through the rear n/s tyre, could have ruined our Christmas break without the spacesaver, the size tyre needed was not available anywhere. They in my mind are worth there weight in gold 😏 As always you never know...... Big Rat

    @Rusty Crobar Hey Russ have you got the reg number of the last one you hired so I don't get it when I go, as I'm guessing it's been spanked mercilessly within an inch of its life every nano second of the rental and was returned with less than 8bhp power left in the engine 🤗 Of course being a rental that's only as it should be 😋 🐀

    @Grey One Nope not driven one but all that I've read on paper and on line pretty much says the same as you, would I buy and run an expensive Ford with my own money absolutely not. Where as Mrs Rat's 1.0 litre 10 plate Fiesta is great 👍 Big Rat
