  1. Driving dynamics of the RCF well I've driven it and the GSF 'Spiritedly ' on numerous occasions and they are a very well sorted cars, GSF has the edge IMO. Just watch this video especially from 3.35 onwards...... controllability in all conditions on a public road even when having fun is the name of the game 😏 Big Rat
  2. Don't know if others have noticed but they've updated the site to know show who and where your car was tested in the past. Thus is a pretty useful research tool perhaps for those looking to buy, as previously all you had was the testing station number. Big Rat
  3. I doubt very much the American will have the reliability from his American car just wonder if he will tell the long term truth about that, theier build quality is a joke, so much for his large following and many track days and so on have clearly not taught him very much about engine characteristics and long term reliability. Big Rat
  4. @Flytvr Now look Davi if I've told you once I've told you a thousand times stop steaking out my gaff looking for latest body additions 😏 Big Rat
  5. @Defratos This web site has a welding forum, very knowledgeable when I upgraded my 996 Turbo to Gt2 spec I got the titanium exhaust in it's entirety from a friend who had it built from someone on this site an epic sounding piece of art...... glad I didn't buy it new.....🤑🤑🤑 http://www.ukwelder.com/index_forum.php Big Rat
  6. @Rusty Crobar I didn't think you got jet lag on business class 😂 🐀
  7. @Naz1 Naz I have a belief that if I keep polishing my Silver one...... in time maybe just........ maybe it could 🤓 Big Rat
  8. @Peter P18 I see your reasoning, rolling the arches successfully takes some skill, any idea if anyone in the states is running one with a blower, wonder what their tyre situation is ? Big Rat
  9. @Naz1 Yes I agree the white is really something special, the pearlescent in the sunlight looks fab 👍 Big Rat
  10. @Peter P18 Hey Peter all those talk of tyres if you've not already done so I guess that you will be needing some larger ones- so to speak 😂 Big Rat
  11. @ToothyDave I've mentioned before that you will really not feel at normal road speeds/driving much if any difference by fitting the larger tyres. The Michelin's are an excellent tyre no doubt about it,I've recently had fitted all in standard Bridgestone for £600.00 all round, I accept though that aesthetically the larger sizes fill the arches somewhat, but hey size isn't everything 🤗 Oh and the £2-300.00 saved can be put to better use IMO, pay for those US BUSHES you want 😁 Big Rat
  12. Andy Welcome to you obviously you've made the right choice somebody mentioned the phrase 'Honeymoon period ' well this excitement will last a lot longer that 😉 Big Rat
  13. @Ostragobulus Well done that man, as I mentioned to you at the beginning I won't run without a spare good job, as and when I go down the GSF route I'll be cobbling something like this together as well. Big Rat
  14. @NothernDan That sounds great, though clearly the colour of the car is the enhancing element 😊 Big Rat
  15. @Jgtcracer Still think it's worth a pm drop to @emjay82 Mark he will have some useful info for you even if he has got rid of the 'spare' one he had 👍 🐀
  16. @Verbout Now with the odd one or two is-F suffering with creaking drivers seats I believe one or two of the previous drivers bear some of the responsibility 😂 Big Rat
  17. @Mattmech Ah yes sense not something I produce in abundance apparently, according to some on here 😂 🐀
  18. @Jgtcracer I think you'll find they are about that in pounds here a fair wedge I accept but if it's not repairable probably your only option 🙄 🐀
  19. @Jgtcracer Marcus there is a slim possibility that @emjay82 may have a lightly damaged one from his car, and I'm led to believe that even new they are not silly money. Big Rat
  20. @Mattmech Sounds great Matt I'm conscious of becoming like a well worn record on this so must get it done sooner or later 🙄 Big Rat
  21. @paulrnx Most welcome Paul, only prerequisite is a likening for cake and coffee 😊 🐀
  22. @Arqum Arqum just ignore @Flytvr everyone else does 😂 Mind you if you are ever in need of a new interior I can point you in the right direction of one you would have to clean all the cake and coffee stains of it first 😂 Big Rat
  23. @Arqum Arqum you may want to send a pm to @emjay82 he has some may want to offload. Big Rat
  24. @JoshW Hi Josh for your budget the number of owners is more or less inevitable, many large petrol engine cars what ever the make usually have similar ownership history, people want to run the car for a year or two and then get out. Lexus do seem to buck the trend somewhat in my experience. Anyway The is-F is a great car with very few issues, if you bide your time the right one will come along. Remember though there are only about 215 in the country left now so you need to be prepared to travel. Good luck you will get a lot of help on here just ask 👍 Big Rat
  25. @Peter P18 Peter don't know if you ever go Aus Is-F site but this is a good read, the Aussies are big into the mods. http://au.lexusownersclub.com/forums/topic/13977-full-rr-racing-upgrade-package-installed-in-melb/ Big Rat
