  1. ...like this Random link http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Magnetic-Pick-Up-Tool-8-Lb-Pickup-Tool-Telescopic-Magnet-Long-Reach-/321483597458
  2. You're right, the GS 450H does have a handy turn of speed As Krzysztof said, you'll get 40mpg+ on the motorway around 70mph which drops a little the faster you travel. I also seem to be averaging 35mpg tank-tank. If the car has FDSH then it will have had a hybrid health check each time, hopefully this is in the paperwork or you might be able to call the Lexus dealer and find out. The lighter colour will hide stone chips better than the darker painted cars. If both cars are in relatively easy reach, then go take a peek at them both. Good luck.
  3. Oh gawd, I hate it when that happens! To retrieve the bolts try fishing around with one of those extending aerials with a magnet on the end. Then hopefully you won't need to remove any more trim
  4. Phew, happy days. The end result/cost could have been much worse.
  5. Wow, that's some jump up from the Honda. Spooky but I came from an diseasel 2.2 Civic (albeit tweaked) to Lexus. I totally agree with your exclusive comment, which was party why I bought mine.
  6. Welcome to the forum Vijay. That's a mighty looking 1st Lexus, in the correct colour too Well done and enjoy I hope you don't mind me asking but what was your previous steed and what drew you to the IS-F?
  7. Sticky caliper maybe? The next time it feels sluggish, carefully check the heat or each wheel/disk.
  8. Yeah me too, the Type R comparison is odd but let's go with it...
  9. The next episode is online
  10. Very nice pic's indeed, well done
  11. I love the colour, looks great. Enjoy.
  12. Welcome to the forum. Lookin' good, you've breathed some new life into her 👍
  13. Should that plate riveted in position or pressed/glued/similar? Maybe check some for sale ad's. Is this a known issue? If it's fixing have worked loose then it's a wise precaution not to run the engine until they are fished out. The could easily block an oil way a starve the engine of lube. The technician's comments are a bit of a chuckle e.g. 'in the engine bay' when he meant 'within the engine'. Also that he will not be performing xyz. Bless him.
  14. Nice write up with good results and protection for a few months I'd have much rather been cleaning my alloys, instead we ripped out the back fence. Which did my back in, NOT so happy days
  15. Well done, restoring the Hybrid battery to good health I'm also glad the last hurdle was relatively straight forward, in the end.
  16. As ever, well done pal. That doesn't look out of place at all. 👍
  17. Well found and well done for continuing to look for a way to resolve the issue.
  18. An excellent choice, enjoy. I'm jealous that you have a choice of sports cars.
  19. True, I hosed down after washing/disconnecting the lance which saw most of the water then sheet off
  20. Over the weekend I gave the car it's first wash since being detailed and by gawd it'd was easy. I don't think it's just down the protection they used either, I'm guessing the paint correction helps make the paint more slippery.

    Hello

Sounds like a big improvement over the Honda then. The car looks great, like the colour and it seems very shiny 👍 Enjoy.
  22. Crumbs, thats impressive
  23. Doesn't the spec come up at online auto factors after selecting your vehicle? Any reason why you can't check what's under the hood? Or aren't you conviced yours is correct? Or check the manual...
