  1. That oil leak looks a bit odd, if the piston seal goes then it normally soaks the bottom on the spring on it's platform yet your platform is dry 🤨
  2. Hi Ruben, crumbs that's a hefty price...I suspect the dealer will be removing the dashboard to acquire proper access. Those servo's and connecting rods are a royal pain, especially if you split the passenger (UK) side. I can't recall the full details of my alignment but I do remember that I had to work each rod on the heater box to understand it's use and then relate that to the servo operations from the dash controls. I had the server panel removed at this point so it operated freely. You should then gradually be able to orientate the parts so they mesh together and work throughout their range without binding or interfering with other controls. I'm not familiar with the IS350 servo's layout, is it the same as the GS? How far have you got thus far? What was you underlying issue, a worn servo? Noisy dash on initial start-up? Cheers, Lee
  3. Doh, why do windows always seem to drop unexpectedly when it's raining ! Have you disconnected the 12v battery recently? If so, then the windows should be reset to prevent them randomly opening 😉
  4. Great news, I bet you are relieved Steve.
  5. Is there a boot release disable button within the glove box?
  6. Yeah I guess it's an easy mistake to make as LPG for cooking/etc is accepted provided, it follows their rules.
  7. Not so Stuart / @runsgrateasanut...according to the Eurochunnel website; Vehicles powered by LPG or equivalent flammable gas as well as dual powered vehicles (vehicles fitted with an LPG or equivalent flammable gas tank as an alternative fuel) cannot be accepted for transport by Eurotunnel Le Shuttle, even if: the LPG or equivalent flammable gas tank is empty the LPG or equivalent flammable gas mode of the vehicle is not selected Reference; https://www.eurotunnel.com/uk/travelling-with-us/vehicles/fuel-types/
  8. @Haylands, thankfully it's not an early L322 aka Tyler's https://www.autotrader.com/car-video/video-i-buried-my-broken-ranger-rover-me-inside-281474979892027
  9. Nor can I John, give him time to prepare his masterpiece. I suspect the car will sell itself 😉
  10. Alex, I have but there's so much choice that I can't decide on any! I also want a reliable/strong set... Yours look dandy tho, good choice.
  11. Nicely done Phil 👍 I've been trying to find some replacement rims for mine but have struggled to find anything decent for a fair price 😒
  12. Welcome to the forum Trevor, what Honda(s) history do you have?
  13. All good points reported above however don't later LS's (430/460) also have combined radiators for both the engine coolant and gearbox oil, which are now getting prone to leaking and potentially detonating the gearbox? That be an expensive repair that be, if the radiators implodeth... I find the CVT transmission in the 450h is great as there is plenty of power is on tap and you aren't at max rev's for more than few seconds. The v6 sounds nice anyhoo's. However in the smaller capacity cars (e.g. CT I've driven) the CVT can cause the engine to max revs for an annoying long time. The inline 4 banger ain't no v. I like the constant acceleration and how smooth the CVT it is. Bottom line is that Lexus are complicated and any repairs can quickly become expensive, especially if you rely on dealers to complete the repairs. Parts are a pain to source too, vs other manufacturer's. But they're lovely cars...
  14. Paul, there a bit cheaper here; https://www.driftworks.com/bc-coilovers-for-lexus-gs350-gs300-gs450h-grs191-43440.html
  15. Sami, the default spring rates for our model appear to be 10/8kg. Can you recall the rates you ordered? Many Thanks, Lee
  16. Well done John, the bearing part number has been duly noted 😉
  17. Wow, well done Jason 👏 Is the press fit pipe leaking a common issue?
  18. Hey Finn, thanks for the pics - it's a great looking car and being a 2010 it has the grill and alloys that I like. Mine's an early face lift '08 and like yours...really shifts when you want it too 🙂 I found many of the rattles were coming from the center console which is really easy to remove, fit felt/foam, refit and then enjoy the peace/quite 😉 I hope that your noises can be fixed as easily. Cheers, Lee
  19. Hi Fenn, welcome to the forum and I'm sure you'll enjoy your GS (altho I'm biased). What made you choose the GS? Do you have any pics to share? Cheers, Lee
  20. Well spotted @steve2006, I clocked that Mark X a few days back and thought it was an interesting proposition
