    Good to know that the rad was a straight swap, especially at such a bargain price. Where did the foam sit, around the edges? If so, then they help force the air thru the grill and not to take the path of least resistance around it. Do you have an OBD reader that you can use to get a reading of the coolant temperature? The gauges aren't known for being that accurate and I'm quite surprised that it shows any difference at all. So maybe the gauge is more accurate than most?

    The Moses Gate dealer was noted here recently as selling plenty of Lexus. I can't recall who raised it or if they had any dealings with them tho Keep an eye on http://www.bmcspecialistcars.co.uk too, they pretty much have a test drive vid per car.

    @Flytvr, savagegeese on YouTube have some good Lexus vid's that also take a peek underneath to show model differences. You may be right as he drove the RC and GS F's back to back and didn't find much between them.

    Ah yes, the ballasts are an extra for HID's. Which if they need replacing can then start getting expensive. Are the ballasts accessible without removing the bumper, lamp housing?

    I'd be very suspicious of the low mileage considering its age. As you say, lots of components could have been compromised with the lack of use. The lack of regular servicing also goes against it. The high price is off putting too, regardless of the mileage. On the flip side the interior and exterior should be close to immaculate. If it's close, then maybe it's worth a look. But I personally wouldn't make a special or long trip for it. Maybe someone on here is local and could check it out?

    @chris_fletcher That mount looks slick, pricey though. The latest mounts sure have come a long way since I last used one. I've been using a tow bar rack for years but alas the GS 450H dunnae have a tow bar option

    Oh dear, was an over jealous windy gun used to fit them? - during a recent tyre change maybe? Replacing the one stud should be fine but if you have concerns then changing them all is wise. Running on 4 studs 'should' be okay provided you don't go far and take it easy in the bends and braking. Only take an essential trip and don't forget to replace it ASAP. I'm on my mobile at the moment so can't see if the vehicle is old. If so, maybe metal fatigue is the cause?

    Are you sure they are leaking? Check them yourself as during my last service my dealer said my shocks were leaking. I checked them and found they were all bone dry! My trusted indi even popped it up on the ramp and gave it a once over, they were still dry. Tut tut. I guess few Lexus owners delve underneath and dealers think they can get away with dodgy quotes.

    I looked into this recently and opted for a more versatile roof rack. One popped up locally that hasn't been used much. Fits a treat, hooks over the door frames. I'm still looking for a bike mount and had settled on a Thule 598, which look secure and easy to use. But I'll also take a look at Whispbars.
