  1. Fingers crossed. I felt the same when I had my CT loaner.
  2. Have you spoken to any vehicle trimmers about boosting the seat base? Sorry if you've answered this before.
  3. I tried looking this up the other day but drew a blank. The brochure only lists 3 interior colours but not their respective codes; https://www.lexus.com/documents/brochures/2010/2010-Lexus-GS-Brochure.pdf
  4. Another supply option coming soon?
  5. How long have your dampers been leaking? I see this thread from a few years ago, did you ever get the dampers replaced?
  6. Good call checking part numbers, I tend to use; https://lexus.7zap.com/en/eu/lexus+gs/334510/gws191r-bexqhw/2/
  7. Gavin / @glawrie, and MOT fails sucks. This is independent feedback outside of Lexus right? After I bought mine, Lexus tried to convince me that all of my dampers needed replacing, even tho they were bone dry. Yet they passed an indi's inspection and have been through 2 MOT's since. A good money spinner for Lexus that. I recall that Lexus Lincoln quoted me around £700 all in for them to change all 4 dampers, so it maybe worth ringing around a few stealers for quotes? I've had good experiences with RockAuto for parts from the USA but dampers seem to be constantly out of stock. I vaguely recall someone on the forum using NipponAutoSpares.com for dampers. Good luck and let us know how you get on.
  8. I'd forgotten just how big the ASSS install is; Occupying the spare wheel well.
  9. My GS is similar age/spec to yours and only has 1 damper per corner. A forum member has managed to rebuild his GS dampers but it is not common place for OEM units. Do any of your dampers leak?
  10. Two 12v batteries in the boot. Wasn't it only available on SEL's?
  11. I'd also say that the short dampers would be fitted at the rear of the vehicle. Point 2 here, shows the ride height adjustment; https://www.tein.co.jp/e/products/street_flex.html If the dampers are already set at max height, then are the dampers/springs the correct model for your vehicle? On the Tein website I don't see any LS models listed in their drop down...
  12. Those coil overs look like they have adjustable spring pre-load (upper adjusters) and a center threaded section that screws into the lower portion of the strut to adjust the ride height. I suspect the lower lock nut needs releasing and the threaded body unwound to lift the car up, then nip up the lower lock nut. Do this on all 4 coil overs and repeat until the car sits at the desired level. Re-reading your post, you are already at the highest level - so the threaded body is wound up as much as possible then right? Here's a quick guide (which you probably already know)
  13. Mine old GS hybrid is, in Antwerp! I registered it easily last minute, online and then ended up using the park & ride instead [emoji23] The tram was so easy [emoji6] I've no idea about UK LEZ's, maybe I'll check...yup, all clear.
  14. Good info there Jon, to complete the drive by wire process won't there also be a pedal position sensor? I'm not 100% certain if this is what Tony is asking or not.
  15. Thanks, that's a handy guide [emoji106]
  16. Thanks Kevin, I thought it best to check and be prepared before ripping into mine.
  17. It's good if the injector is loose, they can be stuck fast. Hopefully a rubber seal and washer will fix it on the cheap. The specialist will sort it for you - good call. Yes injectors typically need recoding but I'm not sure about your model.
  18. Kevin, are those OEM hose clamps a one use affair or can they be re-tightened? What about the plastic end doohickies?
  19. Hi James, yes that sounds like an injector. Peer down at the base of each and do you see any black goo? I hope it's an easy fix. Good luck, Lee
  20. Since removing the air/oil separator, new plugs and reset'g the fuel trims i'm now seeing just 2% over fueling vs 9% (on bank 2). Which should help boost mpg. I have just fitted a new MAF but don't anticipate much of an improvement over these figures. Maybe it'll help balance the banks a bit...
  21. Hey Les @DJ Les, that looks like an xCarLink - which I fitted to my previous vehicle.
  22. I believe the Toyota version has various revisions over the BMW version, which should benefit their models in the long term.
