A corrupt ECU sounds a bit odd to have and hopefully it’s only causing mileage reading issues However to ask Lexus “ why” is maybe expecting too much from mere mortals ……. sounds very technical and exceptional electronic wizardry related ……. p’raps a replacement ECU might be the end result …… at Lexus cost of course if you’re still under their Warranty ( hopes ) Good luck Malc

I had perhaps wrongfully assumed the original Post referred to physical damage whatever the responsibility of BT/ OpenReach to repair ……. for ALL internet providers However …… I’ve used TalkTalk for a verrryyy long time and been ok usually ……. Loan Car and fuel level should simply be to receive it FULL and on handing back the car the garage refills and charges ( or not ) the clear simple fuel cost Anything else is BAD PRACTICE Malc But I am old and old school maybe with customer expectation standards to match maybe All my business customers are given the very best experience possible …… it’s ingrained into my staff MB

In my experience callipers can often, on many cars, be simply overhauled at modest cost rather than expensively replaced …… if the guy knows what he’s doing of course ! Malc

If it’s just a thick plastic lens can’t it simply be “ fixed “ with goo/ glue ? Ask an MOT Tester if that’s ok maybe I remember years past with glass headlamps that used to be an MOT acceptable fix Malc
