  1. Hahahaha nope, there’s a relatively new Japan centric Toyota hydrogen power big saloon Ls type genre I’ll be buying one when it’s proven and it can be refuelled at say a BP petrol station ….. BPs developing their hydrogen vehicle fuel capacity somewhere in the north of England …… to probably roll out to their 1200 stations around the UK …… at some time ……. for trucks anyway ! I’ll rebadge my new Toyota hydrogen car to a Ls700 if Lexus don’t beat me to it 😂 The hydrogen Mirai in the UK was Toyotas trial ….to. police forces whatever Let’s see ……. maybe £125k will sort it for me …… a new company car for me in about 2026 maybe 🥳 A dream or it might become reality …… my simple existing 2 X Ls400s will suffice in the meantime I’m thinking ….. I’ll not stress over it for sure Malc
  2. Antony, your time with Lexus has been sad for sure ..... there are many great " other " cars in the Lexus fold and one might even be just right for you ? An older more mature but nonetheless great car that the thieves won't have on their list ...... Malc
  3. A buddy has lived in Singapore for many many years …… there’s no place to put a car if it’s stolen, or even not stolen …… the cost of putting any car on the road in Sg is prohibitive tax wise ….. … theft of anything physical is anti the culture of the City State ……. the law might have certain remedies for crime but other remedies will exist that are rather more draconian and possibly quite “ hurtful “ to the miscreant 👍👌👍 Now, financial crime and remedies might be more prevalent of course. I know not BUT I wouldn’t want to be on the end of “ social justice “ as a criminal, convicted or not …… missing toes and fingers etc might be machete outcomes for miscreants 👍 Just to cheer up Stephen 😂 Malc
  4. But when would one ever rebuild a Ls430 engine ? ……… looooong life expectancy of ‘ 00’s000’s miles before that event surely ? Malc
  5. most certainly not ...... only the Bentleys around here and you don't have to be rich to buy one, just a bit mad and have lots of dosh for maintenance and petrol at 8 mpg maybe 🤣 Malc
  6. For me it was, the 2.3 Ghia, just one of our family cars alongside the Vauxhall VX2300 estate …… having 4 very young kids …… and my long standing 1969 Wolseley 16/60 that I’d had since forever and went to the scrapper, me heartbroken, in 1982 …… the starting handle exercise regime oft used 😂 Then my sports cars 😂 …… 4ltr V8s …… Ls400s, again forever these past 25 years or so I’d never worried about “ performance “ with cars …… they’ve all just been super strong powerful unassuming “wolves in sheep’s clothing” tbh Malc
  7. Arthur. I remember having a X reg Cortina Mk 1V 2.3 Ghia bought with 12k miles ….. nearly new Wow wot a fabulous car too ….. kwik quick kwik for sure Memories Memories eh! Malc
  8. Best leave well alone then !?! maybe save yourself 100 squid too Malc
  9. hahahaha You don’t have to live with ‘em ……. See my dastardly 2 every blessed day 😻 And I’m seeing rather more assorted Lexii on my local’ish roads than for years ……. Thinking I should get a Rolls Royce … …. don’t think I’ve seen one for years BUT Bentleys, whilst not two a penny do seem rather more “ in your face “ than ever …… in my locale anyway 🤔 Malc
  10. Oh the blissful joy of sod—ing Boxing Day shopping ….. aaaarrrrggghhh 🥵 so it’s coffee in Costa and their free Wi-Fi 🥳 Malc
  11. and I think they will continue the hydrogen power route to fame too .. fingers xd I'll continue saving for my Ls700 Malc
  12. remembering a slightly loose heat shield above the exhaust on my Ls400 set-up a rare but indistinguishing momentary " effect " going over one particular short road area in Faversham ........ not specifically thru' the doors but form there to wherever on the car Malc
  13. The Maxxiss All Seasons I had used on my Ls400 ( different size and car ) felt a little “ hard “ driving BUT never seemed to wear out on the rears ……. great longevity at the expense of “comfort” Malc
  14. You didn’t need this stress over Christmas ……. glad it’s sorted Malc
  15. On my 2006 Honda Legend a completely new Air Bag Recall was issued about 3 years ago ( at @120k miles ) …… I booked it into Honda who hadn’t seen the car since 2016 from the prior owner I bought the car from ….. seamless and free job done ! Im guessing Honda got my contact details from the DVLA ? Air Bags were often generic and supplied to many Marques …… your car might be within this same Recall 🤔 Malc
  16. Wear your reading glasses more ……. New Tears Resilution maybe ……. For me anyway clearly 😂 Malc
  17. Then spend it on whatever you might wish for or donate it away to a worthy cause and then close the accounts Salvation Army is a worthy cause ……. Amazon has just shown you and all here how unworthy it is of your funds ! Malc
  18. Best wishes one and all and 🙏 for a brill upcoming New Year Malc
  19. Wow. I had never heard of Riken but now reading it’s a Michelin manufactured tyre …… so they must be good, surely 🤔 Malc
  20. And what happens if you just close your Amazon account ? Malc
  21. Well done and Greetings and wishes for an inexpensive year going forward with your brill limo Malc
  22. Get the next MOT done a month before the due date and take stock of all that's said ....... probably be no different to this year .... unless you're going to put stellar mileage on the car ! Malc
  23. I was reading that the MOT year for working TPMS is 2012 and the earlier ones are just nice to have and don't have to function Malc
  24. Dave hi. Out of interest what tyres are you using ? Malc
  25. The local Salvation Army band playing carols in the brilliant acoustic entrance to our local Morrisons on the Isle of Sheppey Kent Wondrous and Heart Warming 👍 Malc
