I don't doubt for one minute that the revised policies with taxing cars in all sorts of ways, novel or not, will be to the fore to enable more deserving causes to be paid for ........... the 35% pay rise for Junior Drs to name but one 😂 Car owners are to be clobbered whichever method the financiers wish ...... and I don't think they'll be hiding it either ....... but of course they'll blame the previous Govt .. of course Why not ! Isn’t one potential answer to simply have the calipers overhauled regularly at each service …… nip any problems in the bud 🤔 Even tho’ it’s not on any Lexus service schedule In my decades of running an Ls400 I’ve always asked the servicing guy to check them out and make sure they’re functioning ok …….. and I’ve not yet had to buy new calipers thankfully 👍 Malc

It uses runflats ……. tyres ? If you fill it with Swiss rolls and Swiss Cheeses 🧀 your wallet will feel emptier and easier to move around with 🤔 Malc

do you know if the permission to travel in those critical areas exempt cars over 30 years young ...... the UK Equivalent of the 40 year rule ....... cars so old as not to require the MOT or equivalent ! Malc

Gray, my road tax on each of the Ls400s is “ only “ £345 each for 12 months …… the Honda Legend road tax is dopey but she indoors really really much prefers driving the Legend …… maybe coz it’s underpowered at only 3.5ltr 😂 Malc

Ah ok then. Thank you Maybe 530 max in 2014 …… about double my initial understanding …… very few whatever Road Tax upcoming end this month probably about £765 or so 🥵 Malc
