That’s unfortunate ……. My small Indy garage I use also does the MOT itself and they’ve always been able to “ fine tune “ any potential failures and serious Advusories …….. thankfully But the customer still isn’t allowed on the “ operating deck “ ……. It’s the liability insurance I guess good yours is now sorted 👍 Malc

Nathan welcome to this Forum Theres lots of info on the Ls460 to be searched here It’s a relatively rare car The V8 4.6ltr engine and drivetrain is beyond reproach Change the radiator every 100k miles as preventative maintenance to protect the gearbox …… that’s essential ! Im reading the suspension set-ups are expensive to replace but have good longevity ……. there’s plenty of advice to search but I’m sure Members here will be forthcoming with useful advice and guidance Hopefully your specific car will have good Lexus Service History and a fresh MOT Ive never had other than the Ls400 …… a different animal but of supreme quality Your AA inspection should be thorough …… might they be able to sell you some sort of warranty too ? Others here with specific knowledge will pop up soon I’m sure Malc

Just to update a little …….. technology since Covid has boosted the need for more tech and less people in my ( Delhi based ) travel agency business Tech has transformed it all ……. one guy, our chief sales guy has just had a broken leg pinned etc from a motorbike accident getting to the Office Hes desperate to WFH as he can’t yet get to the Office ……. I’m sure we’ll find a way for WFH to work for him but after 22 days he says …….. some medical reason I think ! I work from home every day 6 days a week …… I deal with the financials only ……. daily massaging the accounts etc ….. irregular timings and on a needs must basis …… hopefully Im kept busy ! As I said before, working in the City and 4 hrs a day commute was NOT preferable BUT it was a great socialising time with great work colleagues Too old and knackered now to commute anywhere ….. even to the business office in Delhi Retirement ( of sorts ) brings great coffee and cake opportunities everywhere from the luxury of my Ls400s Long may my WFH continue ….. now where’s that damn Draft Balance Sheet 😄 Malc
