Gray, go buy this Sc430 and use BOTH cars on a regular alternate day basis ……. cuts your petrol bills by half ( you refill less often ) and the servicing costs too …… each lasts twice as long between servicing, the tyres last twice as long too …….. you know it makes sense …….. that’s why I have 2 x La400s ……… well known fact two Lexii saves you money 😄🤞 Gobuy this Sc430 ……. Might I suggest that if you’re concerned over the annual road tax, as an impediment then the purchase of this car might not be quite for you at this time ! Just expect huge uplifts in Road Tax, Fuel Tax, EV taxes too …… absolutely anything and everything to do with cars ……. there’ll be no stone left unturned to grasp whatever £££ is possible from the motorist …….. we’re ridiculously wealthy compared to those impoverished ……. needing Foodbanks Clothesbanks Govt controlled new BritishEnergy low prices ……. to keep those in deep hardship ongoing and fit and healthy ………. and able to enjoy the inflation busting 5.5% pay rises that all Govt style workers are likely to get Got to be paid for eh ! so hammer the ( Lexus especially ) well off motorist 🤣😂 Malc

My time with inherited Pirelli tyres on my 2006 Honda Legend …….. incredibly hard wearing BUT oh so glad when they wore out and I could change them ……. so so harsh and uncomfortable a ride ….. glad they went I bought Falkens …… as good experience for years on my 95 Ls400 👍 Malc

Just a little hopefully helpful advice …… When I did my Portugal drive some years ago I found much confusion queuing in the several different lane Qs to cross that bridge into Lisbon ……. I got it wrong …… verbally reprimanded by the Officer dealing with the Qs and quite ridiculed tbh …….. So, choose the correct Q, somehow, to avoid being classed as a reprobate by the Officials Good luck 🤞 😄 Malc

The driver cum cyclist will understand the mores of the road etiquette I’m sure and the DVLA driving licence could of course cover both modes However it is quite evident that some non-driving adult cyclists have zero notion of road etiquette ……. it is that segment of our society that I would wish “ controlled” or at least sufficiently formally “ trained/educated” and a DVLA licence earnt …….. please Malc

Suggest you track down the TPMS posts about this battery changing …. it’s far from straightforward but do-able with much skill ……. what I remember of the fairly recent post ! I could never attend it I know but could save many £00’s Malc

There is another post somewhere about self-changing the internal TPMS battery……. might be challenging for many BUT might save several £00’s 🤔 Malc

could be a downside factor in Lexus doing all your car servicing ..... there's no one there who knows how to simply check and adjust a caliper ..... they've only ever gone to simply replacing the unit at £00's methinks ..... it's just never part of a Service Schedule One great advantage of having a straightforward indy to do one's servicing . checking and overhauling a caliper is second nature methinks and will save one £00's or more Malc
