See no one’s responded yet 🤔 I used to have a car port and found it great except you might need to keep the birds from nesting above you and in mine, a cat used to sleep up in the rafters and the car roof sometimes the launching platform 😂 Does this help ? Malc

Bearing in mind that if you’re a member of say the AA or RAC then they will have the jacks and wheel brace needed …… but not necessarily the spare wheel might save some space in your car ……. 🤔 Malc

you should at least drive it up and down the driveway to make sure brakes and gears, steering and wheels stay ok .... don't want any of that to seize Malc

Reading today that BP is curtailing significantly it’s drive into Hydrogen production globally Awaiting to see if the new UK plant is to be axed ……. and thereby availability at the pumps ….. their 1200 BP fuel stations anyway 😰 Malc

NB yesterday again on the 95 Ls400 driving along and the red warning " door open " dash light emerged ........ I stopped and checked, the boot lid had slipped ajar all by itself 🫢 Hope you find your culprit ok Malc

Winter in the UK is possibly the best time to buy with owners laying them up for the months ahead .......... or wanting to just get rid ............ also now with personal finances being impacted with Budget etc there might be more owners trying to liquidate into cash .... just my thought Its upcoming a good time to buy ....... poor time to sell Malc

Reminds me my neighbours Audi Q7 headlamp bulb popped and the only fix was simply a replacement headlamp unit at …….. £700 🥵 These modern cars eh ! Malc

Wot a pullava Steve 😰 It’s quite incredible the advancing technology of more modern cars …….. an owner relying on Main Dealer ( or indeed any commercial garage ) servicing might have incurred something of a £200+ bill just to replace a simple sidelight bulb …….. essential for its MOT Ah the blessed old and ancient Ls400 for more simple peace of mind ……. and security of bank balance 👍 Next bulb change in 2044 then 🤞 Well done Malc
