As a former car dealer in times past I would advise against buying a modern car at auction They're there, I’m thinking, almost 100% coz there’s trouble brewing with it It hopefully drives there dropped off the trailer, drives around into the auction itself and then out again and it’s YOURS ……all yours . warts and all 🥵 Unless you know an awful lot about the specific car you’re thinking to buy and you’re happy with it …….. then don’t buy it But it’s your money and then your car and your stuffed and stuck with it, good or nay Malc

It’s quite clear, to me anyway, that OAPs have little positive value to this Govt , indeed the sooner they’re shot of us the better it will be for Rachel Reeves Black Hole elimination ……. DWP payments would significantly diminish and Sir Keir’s financial problems would somewhat evaporate …….. or indeed enable more funds to pay the Civil Servants and other State Payroll beneficiaries I'm being cynical I guess BUT that’s the way I’m feeling …….. it’s just disgraceful that many many 000s of those OAPs less fortunate than us here might really have to make the choice between heating or eating this winter As I’ve said before here …. I’m presuming you’re saying that the simpler drive serpentine/ fan belt is included in the price ? Not additional cost ! Other than maybe the very few ££ that simple belt costs I don’t know about the other you mention …….. on my 95 Ls400 at 250k miles I don’t think they’ve ever been replaced tbh 🤔 My last cambelt ( timing belt, ) and all that challenging stuff I had dealt with at @ 205k miles ……. it’s a huge expensive job for sure but ESSENTIAL preventative maintenance Malc

There is of course a tiny loophole to all this car insurance mullarkey …… one can self-insure ( or used to be able to ) but of course subject to some major wealth criteria …….. I’ve never explored this but it used to be times past Bonding @ £50k under some Scheme or other Not for the faint hearted I’m sure but might be worth exploring if you’re of a mind to and deep pockets Malc
