maybe with later age cars for sure . I used to buy them and they lasted about 3 years 40k miles or so, THEN one time they only lasted a year . methinks the older stock was perishing / becoming less pliable etc, in it's packaging on the shelf ! Malc

finding a competent and useful Proper AutoElectrics person is very very challenging . I had this problem a while ago locally and each i approached , by phone tho'. was just PATHETIC ............. then the issues vanished . as they can so do on our Ls400s ............... thankfully Best wishes with your problem Malc
