They might be worth just a tad more than the £1400 I paid in 2011 for the 95 one and the £1200 for the 91 car last August ……. just amazing “ runabouts “. 😂🤣 tbh …… go anywhere anytime and for ever as long and as far as one wanted ….. and for years ahead too ……. relentless reliable comfortable supreme Ls400. I understand the recommendation is to change the radiator at 10 years / 100k miles to avoid that catastrophe .......... with no other adjustments mentioned above I've also read on here at other Posts that there might be a selection of 3 different styled fixes on radiators to choose from of which just ONE is suitable for your specific car .. so take care when ordering one and changing the radiator Good luck Malc

Just thinking. Has your usual mechanic ( you do have one ?) ever checked/ refreshed/ changed the gearbox oils …….. it might be that causing this hiccup for you Have you asked him ? When I took delivery of my 91 Mk1 last August 23 there too was a noticeable “ drag - stiffness” slight “ heaviness” to the steering …….. I just topped up the reservoir a smidgen to a more correct level on the reservoir dipstick …….. it solved the issue instantly ……. It really was just a smidgen tiny amount I put in ……. made that world of difference and instantly ……. thankfully 😅 Malc

Straightforward bushes begin to creak a lot at 200k miles too …… have you had any replaced yet ? Your regular servicing and MOT garage hadn’t mentioned anything over recent times ? if it's none of this, and you trust your garage ok, I’d consider an early MOT in October ……, the allowed for month in advance, and see what Advisories come about ….. if any ! Popping £00’s into guess work maintenance doesn’t seem quite right to me I’d be more inclined to consider it’s possibly almost much else bar the suspension units themselves …….. they generally go on much longer than just 200k imho 🤔 ( On my Ls400 anyway at 251k miles now ) Malc
