maybe not quite the same sense of " adventure " that trusting to connect to enough EV charging points in a foreign land ............ would maybe offer 😅 No I jest . I'm sure an aged proven 6 seater EV is just up to the mark wherever one goes on mainland Europe . well, except maybe Ukraine these days Well done i say ... . BUT I was regularly doing a month's 4k mile trip over all and sundry in Europe before covid hit us in our tracks ..... and there couldn't have been anything much better than my 4ltr V8 limo doing that ...... Sounds wonderful, lucky you ....... For your next trip You might find a simple month touring the length and breadth of Italy quite amazing too . thru' France and Switzerland, chasing through to reach there would be ok I'm sure ....... Make it after about April otherwise the icy conditions of the Dolomites might mean you had to change to winter tyres ...... used to be a law in times past, but not sure now ! Nothing quite like touring far flung and hopefully remote outposts of mainland Europe methinks 🖕 Well done and Lucky You Malc

it's possibly just ancient wiring that's sadly piecemeal, in situ, fracturing slightly ......... and buggering about with it randomly just might be aggravating the fragility ..... suggest you try to find a competent AutoElectrician that understands what he's doing .... believe me, many just don't and won't want to touch an aged car. Lexus Main Dealer might have the same level of incompetence but considerably more expensive too Good Luck Malc

I often use BingMaps on my desktop computer prior to a strange journey to get quite exact location detail ….. shows congestion etc too …… and I can study it all at leisure ….. refer back to it the next day before the journey even Then on the actual journey I’ll hopefully remember where I need to go and if needs be pop it on my IPhone for “ live” updates all the way there ….. The formal SatNav screen ( on the Honda ) I so rarely use or need to use ……. So then …… why would I spend large amounts of ££££££ to update the car marque SatNav Maybe it should be an automatic freebie offering from the Marque …… just so long as it wasn’t in Japanese of course 😂 They never offer freebies like this I guess …… it would improve brand marketing tho’ Malc

and they seem to show red for congestion and tell you you really are on the fastest route ..........🤣 Malc
