Thank you for this insight
My Falkens are brilliant and I would use those again but seem to have fallen off the radar unless I pay 50% more than last time 😰 …… and hard to track down too
Steve has given real time user review above and thank you
Anyone else actually using them ?
Thank you

Any maintenance history throwing light on prior works ?
I would personally wait for the next MOT time to reveal any potential issues …… unless there have been unattended to Advisories

Try the Kia Carens …… built for the purpose and value for money ……. Ls600 rear seat 5th small adult ok …… a rare event maybe to carry back seat pax ?

Oh my ……. wot ‘appnd to my suggestion to rent a little time on a garage ramp …… and save that 999 call to A&E 🤔
Buying that trolley jack £££££ cost might equate to garage ramp rent time you know !
We’ll miss your Posts you know 😰

😂😂😂😂😂
but hardly run-in …… yes Qamar yours is worth at least £35k ….. and mine £25000 and £15000 ( have we left a nought or two off these figures ? )
Blimey, someone’s going nuts over our beloved Ls’s’ 😄

If one is happy to use a bespoke stick-on replacement non tinted non heated glass mirror they can be ordered relatively inexpensive
I bought one for my Ls400 @ £25 a couple of years ago ….. I had to send a paper template so be careful about that
The new glass picks up the “ heat” from the original glass anyway !
A comparatively inexpensive fix if one wished to go that route !

Don’t know your car’s mileage but lots of original stuff lasts 100/200k miles ……. the rubber boots / dust covers perish with age too and are relatively inexpensive …… but are necessary protection and often subject to an MOT Advisory
If you’ve not yet had MOT or Advisory issues then it’s possible all is well currently …… if you can put up with some aged creaks and groans
Everything always looks rust coloured underside but rarely of importance ……..
Those creaks and groans might just be telling you that she needs using a lot more …… my recent purchase of the 1991 Mk1 worried me a little with those interminable and incessant creaks……. which with a lot of use have seemingly now just “ vanished “
Your car, if it’s not MOT Advisory nor Failure condition then it might be as well to leave alone and use her more !
Good luck making the right cost saving decisions

Luke hi.
Over many years I’ve bought Amayama and they have indeed been OEM stamped Toyota in plastic bags BUT certainly been more expensive than this indicative price range
Usually a few hundred ££ for the UCAs but after all delivery vat Customs and Excise costs etc have worked out maybe 50% of Lexus/Toyota uk store prices
Rockauto a good supplier and there’s LexusPartsDirect too
What are the parts you’re looking for ( not numbers )

There’s recent Posts here about the availability of “ PolyBushings” from a company in ? Bournemouth maybe !
just the perishable bits !
Don’t know how successful it all is tho
I’ve replaced( well my Indy mechanic has ) lots of expensive whole arms from Amayama over the years at about 50% of Lexus / Toyota prices ….. all marked Toyota originals too …… on the Ls400 they have an inordinate long life thankfully ….. up to 200k miles
Good luck going forward

An earlier Ls400 I bought from a car sales guy in Windsor many years ago, at a very competitive price, coz he had sold the original regn for shed loads ££££ ….. it was BCA3
British Car Auctions people bought it I guess !

No advice from me BUT I’m aware on some models the leaking drips onto the alternator and “ kaput “
Happened to me long way back on my first Mk1 on the M20 at night in the rain 😰
Good luck sorting the issues

I’m sure AfterMarket could be available as they are with many other models !
Q. Presuming your car isn’t benefitting under any sort of Lexus warranty scheme ?
I’d be very wary of simply acting on the “ advice “ of the Lexus Dealer mechanic as that seems to be pushing you into probably excessively expensive unnecessary “ fixes “
Does your independent MOT station also do servicing ? If so then I’d be inclined to simply ask them to do it all in the future …… if you can bear to forgo the Lexus Service stamp in the book …… if you’re keeping this 8 y/old car then I’d be inclined not to worry about the sans Lexus stamp in the book …… it might happily and sensibly save you £’000s
Just my simple view 🤔

I think I would want to be, well I really am ........... simply an older Ls400 .. solid, safe, reliable, hardly ever breaksdown, very very comfy but above all ........ can be very very fast and very quick off the mark 😇
