ok I have now done this fine tuning of my latest mpg in the 101k miles 91 J reg Ls400 ..... 374 miles on 84.69 ltrs = 20.09 mpg ............ and that's on all sorts of driving speeds on all my local roads, from country lanes to short motorway stretches and over maybe the past month or so the petrol tank is said to hold 85.1 ltrs and I did stop off to pop in exactly 10 ltrs as an interim during that time recently as the orange light popped on ..... that's always a little fearsome just in case one runs dry ...... my local'ish Tesco for E5 is now at 135.9p ltr ........ and when I fill up there it's never out of my way so's not to waste fuel getting there 😇 Malc

I do remember mentioning weeks ago here somewhere that perhaps any Coroners Report should be specific on death from cold …….. might that happen somehow 🤔 Malc

AGE. UK. are predicting, from their own Impact Assessment that some 2 million plus OAPs will, this winter suffer hugely from this drastic cut in the WFP ……. choosing between heating or eating, or possibly neither satisfactorily ……. receiving DWP pension whatever monetary increases AFTER the winter won’t help those OAPs one jot, we all know that !!! …… as several thousands will likely be consigned to a premature Labour Govt Labour Prime Minister induced death …… ……. it really is that simple 🥵 Its an utter disgrace and shameful and totally preventable Malc

Ls460 alternators seem readily available on-line to purchase at a snip at a few £00 or so …….. big expensive cars of course ……. did you watch the video on a concurrent post about why NOT TO BUY the 460 🤔 Quite sad for you tbh so hope you find the root cause of the issue before you actually buy that replacement alternator ……. probably a biggish job to change it whatever Someone will come to your aid soon with specific useful thoughts I’m sure 🤞🤞🤞 Good luck Malc

Well then, all those OAPs from nigh 30 years back have probably popped their clogs and this generation, well you and me anyway, and half a million more, are quite mindful that the same fate shouldn’t happen to those hugely disadvantaged in our Society ……. BUT it’s seemingly very unlikely the Labour Govt the Labour Prime Minister and all bar a handful of the Labour MPs care a monkeys about the likely upcoming deaths of a few thousand of their constituents ….. those really really disadvantaged OAPs SHAME ON YOU STARMER and your cohorts of evilness AGE. UK. Petition now at 559,578 Signatures Malc

In my professional capacity as a seasoned Travel Agent …….. beware when now visiting Turkey …….many local prices are now in euros ……… locals in touristy business have abandoned the lira …… taking daily advantage of the local inflationary pressures have vanished for UK ££££ tourists Malc

Turkey is great I guess, if you don’t have to live there with annual inflation at around 50% and living in a perpetual war zone afearing imminent escalation with Syria …… nearest and dearest neighbour Think UK is good now with this Labour Govt having gotten inflation down to just 1.7% …….. indeed there’s probably DWP thoughts to cut back on OAP Pensions let alone cancel the WFA ……., we should give Sir K and his Queen of Thieves greater licence to clear out our bank balances for the good of the Nation …….. 😂🤣 Malc.

at my age and time of life I've decided not to worry anymore about mpg ..... I just drive as gently . or as hard as the traffic, area and mood takes me and fill up with E5 as least often as I can to keep me mobile ............ for me now, life's tooooooo short ahead to worry about those £££££££s and my driving probably the best cars ever for mere mortals with not much £££ to waste on cars and their depreciation ........ but always fully and properly serviced and MOT'd and as safe as the cars can ever be on our dreadful roads MPG used to be max 30 when coasting and fully laden and down to late teens mpg when in 'orrible traffic whatever .......... I don't think much has changed tbh 🤞 Malc

I recd a whole very full 2 page reply from the Office of my Labour MP that was clearly issued from the Labour Centre as a standard reply to any constituent whinging about the WFA cancellation ( I used the AGE UK website template and sent the letter from there ) At the very end, and in order to enable persons to Claim PIPs whatever and seeking guidance, the constituent should, amongst all else, take their Pension Books along to any guidance help meeting NOW ……. Does anyone these days actually have physical Pension Books ?? Or is this a letter written by someone totally NOT au fait with modern Govt DWP methodology largesse …….. or am I doing them a disservice in doubting them 🤔 Malc

oH MY what a wonderful tell-all to NOT ever ever ever buy the Ls460 ....... the Ls430 yes comparatively .... but hey, I'm so so old and the, my own Ls400s are still going strong strong strong after 30 years and more 👍 ......... and between them 350k+ miles Malc -
Maybe get an independent new MOT from your local or a trusted garage to make certain nothings been missed or forgotten about ……. then take it from there ……… You might be lucky and be buying a peach of a car OR maybe not Let us know how that all goes and more useful thoughts might be with us 🤔 Good luck Malc
