  1. Saw this today and I'm in love 😍
  2. The passenger rides were a personal highlight. And I thought I drove like a nutter @Flytvr @Mark G! It's even more scary when you're in a car where bits are known to fly off at random intervals. By the way did anyone get overtaken by a fast moving veloster on the M4 between Swansea and cardiff? My wife said there were some slow moving toyotas in her way home from work 😳
  3. Epic weekend, here's a shot of the v8 appreciation society meeting earlier today 😊
  4. Got to pretend to be a real man today. Do you think I stood out buying some light bulbs for my Barrett house?
  5. I was thinking about a diff too but didn't get very far with the search. You'll struggle to find a 2nd hand one and I'm not sure of any off the shelf options in the UK. Might have to import from America. Having been on the track in mine I really don't think it's worth the expense. The car is not short on grip so you're just paying for a slightly better balance and easier drifting 😁
  6. All sorted now, the reset did the trick!
  7. I wish! The 02 sensors have set off the warning lights again, I assume there is a loose wire somewhere. Want to see if a reset clears the lights like last time before taking the car to bits!
  8. Does anyone know how to reset the ecu on the isf? There is an ecu fuse in the passenger footwell fuse box but do any other fuses also need to be taken out to complete a reset? I'm trying to avoid disconecting the battery and losing all my settings 😯
  9. Ah, so that's why yours is in such good nick! 😁
  10. Good luck jon, I think you're probably looking at 100k+ miles for your budget but I wouldn't worry too much as these cars soak it all up. Make sure the service history is all there and check it feels tight. Stone chips are very common and budget £500 for new brakes and the same for tyres. Get an inspection for £300 if you want to make sure there are no hidden issues.
  11. Had jap cars for years and love their reliability and relative rarity. I wanted something comfortable and a good step up in performance over my legacy and the F was about the only option! I'd read the magazine reports, especially the later stuff in evo so I knew it was a good choice 😊 Like others, I think I'll really struggle to move away from the brand now I've experienced the ownership experience 🖒
  12. No money for wheels so making the best of what I've got with a bit spring cleaning 😊
  13. That's what I was expecting. If only I had the money 😔
  14. Similar to mine but not the same. They're very nice, expensive looking!
  15. Japanese racing jr21. They cost about a grand and seem to weigh about the same as the standard wheels.
  16. Well I do have 5 watches myself and I'm certainly not a rich man, dispite the rumours 😑. All of mine are under £250 but you can get some nice pieces if you shop around.
  17. I love a good watch, rich man's hobby though 🙁
  18. @Pecker thanks! They are half an inch bigger than standard all round and I think they're et40 all round too. Tyres are standard size, slightly stretched. I also have 3mm spacers fitted as the rear calipers were catching the spokes. The rears rub a bit on lowered suspension but I like the way it looks 😁
  19. My car is very popular with the police but they've never owned it 😁
  20. It does have 3000 bhp so it's not suprising it wanted to take off 😂
  21. Bit late for April fools! 😁
  22. Nice, that's the sort of thing I mean. Maybe one with a red tint 🤔
  23. @Mark6pot that sounds amazing!
  24. Thanks guys, appreciate the comments. It really is beyond paint correction, it's been done twice in 6 months and is still not great. Even gentle cleaning creates swirl marks and the paint is thin and super soft. I'm against a wrap simply because the paint underneath would still be rough once the wrap is removed. Not too bothered about resale as mine is one of the oldest and highest mileage examples plus it's modified, it'll always be at the bottom of price curve. I'll probably get it done in September so I'll speak to a body shop and see what they think. Sounds like I'll be sticking with black but quite tempted to go metallic. Does anyone know any special metallic blacks?
