I am tempted to go with the supplier in this thread, as the OP seems happy. Is there one you would recommend?

After a lot of arguments I have had the system removed and a full refund.

So on to the next supplier!

The supplier has replaced the MMI box with a different one, still does not work. I am getting frustrated now!

As I am in the middle of a less satisfactory solution (long story for another time), can I ask what buttons on the steering wheel are functional in Android Auto? I can only skip to next track on Spotify, I still have to use the trackpad to move around with Android Auto.

Very interesting to see. I had mine installed (not from Smart) and have lots of issues. We (the supplier and I) are working through the various problems, and I hope to have some good news to report soon.

MMI unit ordered, awaiting delivery. I have found a local (Herts) installer, who seem to know what they are doing. I will keep this thread updated.

I am amazed that no-one seems to have done this yet in the UK. My current work around, of use car's sat nav, and blue-tooth music to the car, using the phone for track listing, is primitive at best, and I cannot use my speed camera bot at the same time.

Very useful, but confirms to me that I will get a "pro" in to fit. This has the look of a job that I would start, and get stuck about halfway through, with the car in bits, and undrivable!!!

I have a a 2017 LC500h. I am looking at various Android Auto upgrades, has anyone here actually installed one?

I have just purchased this one, and "properly" joined the club!

I Purchased this lovely car  a few weeks ago. LC500h, only 18,000 miles. Rose Red leather interior, HUD and ML HiFi. Very pleased so far. 

I am looking into Android Auto solutions. Has anyone fitted an MMI interface box?

Yes you can use blue-tooth for music and phone calls.

My local Dealer (Hatfield) said they would start booking at the end of the Month.

I have trawled quite a long way back, and not found a GSF vs RCF post. 

I had a GS 250 for 3 years, sold 2 years ago.

I currently have a Porsche 911 (996 C4S) and an Audi A8 Hybrid (2013).

I am thinking of selling both and combining their roles, of sports car, and long distance tourer (about 8,000mls per annum).

I am interested on the groups view on the merits of both, and their suitability for the above.

Hi Bob, just a note to say thanks very much for the diagram.

I managed to source one from a 2014 write-off that came with the correct "white dot" bush already fitted for £220 all in. A saving of over £400 on the list price, condition as new, and car back on the road three weeks earlier than waiting for OEM parts on back order.

42,000 miles. Cause unclear. Suspect pothole damage, but not aware of a big impact.

I have a 2013 GS250 Sport. I have just been told that I need a new Nearside Lower Suspension Arm, and Bush (White dot). Can anyone recommend somewhere to buy parts?
