  1. Most marques that allow video to play on a dash mounted screen have an interlock that detects if the parking brake is on before allowing the function to operate.
  2. Standard practise but it doesn't really protect against the slight off-centre produced if the adjustment is one sided. There's too much give in the whole system
  3. If the geometry is in spec and the steering wheel is off centre, firstly make sure whoever is doing the geo is adjusting the tracking evenly on both sides to maintain the steering centre. If that is all correct then make sure the steering ECU centre position is reset.
  4. Often forgotten, even by dealers, is to reset the steering ECU centre position.
  5. That's very true of petrol driven engines with 'normal' a/c compressors but when considering electrically driven compressors, as fitted to hybrids and EVs, running the a/c will have a significant effect on battery range. That said I personally wouldn't turn off the a/c simply because I value the comfort afforded by a well control cabin environment more than range. Also keeping the a/c running will ensure the seals remain well lubricated and intact.
