  1. Ditto. I rise early enough, (or wait for an overcast morning) to check the pressures before the sun rises above the trees and warms that side of the car. It's a significant temp/pressure difference once the shade goes.
  2. For tyre pressure it means the tyres are at ambient temperature. It means they haven't been run and heated up by friction and movement. For practical purposes this usually means checking them first thing in the morning. It's the ambient temperature that sets the base pressure for the tyre the manufacturer has determined will give the correct running pressure once the tyres are in use.
  3. I have, John, and at every stage of it's deployment... Thankfully it can see a lot more clearly than I can now!!
  4. One has to do one's bit to stop the wine lake overflowing, John 😉
  5. It should be listed in the handbook and on the driver's B pillar
  6. If it is an available personalised setting it would be listed in the Customisations section in the handbook.
  7. Might this be a 'flex plate'? HYBRID TRANSMISSION SYSTEM DETAILS TRANSMISSION DAMPER.pdf
  8. Nice but those don't look like Lexus wheels?
  9. Would there be enough room between caliper and wheel rim to fit a cover?
  10. Is it not shown in your handbook? If you don't have one, download from the Lexus website
  11. I don't know of any warranty that would cover a service item
  12. Smoking the light cluster is a 'grey area' as the MoT tester must use his judgement as to whether the light output is significantly reduced. The rear reflectors are slightly different as they must reflect a red light to comply with the regs, so I can't see how blacked or heavily smoked can pass "You must inspect the 2 mandatory red rear reflectors that must be fitted." https://www.gov.uk/guidance/mot-inspection-manual-for-private-passenger-and-light-commercial-vehicles/4-lamps-reflectors-and-electrical-equipment#section-4-3-1
  13. I imagine retrofitting the OEM parts would get expensive.
  14. I think you will find it is only heated along the small area the wipers occupy when parked. The rest of the screen is unheated.
