  1. Most Lexus models sold in the North American market are also produced in the States, Very few are imported
  2. Their layout and cross references are less than logical in many instances.
  3. No apologies needed, "There is no such thing as a stupid question, only stupid answers" For which I offer my apologies ...
  4. Apologies Daniel my reply was a bit harsh. A rather painful knee is making me grumpy and I should not take it out on others....
  5. That good news Herbs! Now, just curious but if one is sitting in the rear seats and the car is locked (as it might be from driving) and the passenger wishes to exit how does it work? Wouldn't the passenger pull the door lever and still holding the lever push the door open?
  6. Unfortunately on many such occasions the OP has simply not tried the obvious and IMHO it would be far more helpful to themselves to actually refer to the handbook. The simplest answer is always the better option and in most cases a learning exercise in itself. Now, there have been numerous times in the past where a member has asked a question and after confirming they either don't have access to the handbook or have failed to find the relevant information I and others have then searched online copies and posted up the extracts required and at great length. So, Daniel, unless you have anything constructive to add to help the OP perhaps one should keep one's frustrations to oneself?
  7. I would have thought once in the front seat you should be able to open a rear door simply by pulling on the release lever inside, no need to pull up the lock indicator? Just as a passenger would normally do?
  8. I use the stick, much easier to control where it goes..
  9. My invite to join came with the questionnaire after my purchase of my first RC, 5yrs ago. I've been responding to their surveys ever since. I have even received a couple of gifts as thanks!
  10. A relatively large gap around the filler flap and no rubber seals help there Renato 😉 I find a generous application of Gummi Pflege on the door edge seals works wonders in stopping the glass freezing to them. 👍
  11. Sounds like the classic CPS failure. The car doesn't know the crank position. When the engine gets hot the sensor fails, when it cools it starts working again. Get the codes read for confirmation.
  12. Always good to observe prospective sites, watch how many times they drop a cloth and reapply it to the car!
  13. Ditto. I rise early enough, (or wait for an overcast morning) to check the pressures before the sun rises above the trees and warms that side of the car. It's a significant temp/pressure difference once the shade goes.
  14. For tyre pressure it means the tyres are at ambient temperature. It means they haven't been run and heated up by friction and movement. For practical purposes this usually means checking them first thing in the morning. It's the ambient temperature that sets the base pressure for the tyre the manufacturer has determined will give the correct running pressure once the tyres are in use.
  15. I have, John, and at every stage of it's deployment... Thankfully it can see a lot more clearly than I can now!!
  16. One has to do one's bit to stop the wine lake overflowing, John 😉
  17. It should be listed in the handbook and on the driver's B pillar
  18. If it is an available personalised setting it would be listed in the Customisations section in the handbook.
