  1. From the owner's Navigation manual, it would seem format be it 16 or 32, the limit is still 32GB
  2. Did you follow the link on the Lexus Parts Direct web page to the installation information on Lexus-Tech.eu? https://www.toyota-tech.eu/aimuploads/bf468a15-3bab-42fd-afdf-df7670c0122b/Lexus_NX_Front_Mudflaps_PK389_78Nx0_EP_AIM_006_164_1.pdf
  3. Sounds perfectly normal
  4. You say you had to turn off the wipers, so you had left them on Auto when you switched off and locked the car? On Mercedes with auto wipers they would always wipe once the IGN was switched on to show they were set to Auto. Could it be similar, except as the car 'woke-up' the wipers signalled they were on Auto?
  5. If it is accessible to the public, i.e. no locked gates etc.. then that's debatable
  6. Dry grommet where the column goes through the bulkhead. DON'T spray anything between the wheel and the column, there's electric contacts etc.. in there!
  7. Or you can get it done properly at the dealership ...
  8. Is it one of those settings that needs to be made in the My Settings menu as well? The car knows who is driving by the keyfob?
  9. So the current RX does switch on the lights with the wipers? That's a definite improvement on the previous version..👍 From the RX500 handbook. Nothing similar in the LBX though..
  10. Not on my RC or the RX, miss that obvious function, had it on my Mercs but in EU dipped headlamps are mandatory in rain maybe not so in Japan?
  11. I used a 256GB USB clean formatted to FAT32 and extracted to the root directory. Be careful formatting the drive as Win11 automatically uses ExFAT
  12. When I updated my RX the files took less than 5min to unpack onto the USB. The transfer to the car was accomplished over the next 5 or 6 trips in the car. The update pauses and resumes the next time the car is used. Not sure how or if the dealers can expedite this and generally they dislike tying up space in the workshop, they normally have the car on a battery charger to avoid gassing the techs!
  13. As the leather is sealed a simple wipe with a damp cloth is all that's needed. Lexus recommend a weak wool soap solution in luke warm water for deeper cleaning. A gentle vacuum before to remove any gritty bits etc is best done routinely to help prevent cracks forming due to abrasion. The non leather surfaces just wipe over with a microfibre cloth any marks or fingerprints can be removed with a proprietary interior detailing spray. I use Meg's quick interior detailer. Your handbook will give recommend routine cleaning advice.
  14. We used a seat protector/pad from the child seat manufacturer. Just a robust padding that spreads the load more evenly across the seat, so protecting the leather from point pressure. Worked well. Must be many available from places that sell child seats or online, Amazon?
  15. Manufacturers can save ££££s by not including connectors and wires that are not required. Certainly been my experience with Mercedes where just one wire was omitted from the windscreen washer loom to enable the installation of headlamp washers!
  16. From the owner's handbook ..
  17. The full handbook, or the abridged "Get Started" version?
  18. Maybe it's one of those 'driver aides' that reset each cycle of the Power button i.e. you need to disable each time The sensitivity setting is linked with the LDA settings
  19. Adjust the steering wheel slightly? The function can be switched off using the centre display
  20. The function sensitivity can be adjusted check in the Customisation section of the handbook
  21. From the handbook Perhaps the second paragraph? Maybe your seating position is low for the camera? One can disable the warnings
  22. Sell the car for spares and buy a more modern model..
  23. A quick Google comes up with 433MHz The complete procedure is detailed starting on page 455 of the owner's handbook. One can register two sets of wheels to the car for easy swapping between summer and winter sets
