  1. What does your handbook advise on cleaning and maintaining the seats? Mine is quite detailed and specific. Vacuum regularly and wipe down with a damp cloth. Occasionally or to remove stains wipe down with a clean oth dampened with a solution of wool detergent in water. Wipe dry with a clean cloth and never soak the seats. Allow to dry naturally. Applying creams and or conditioner can be quite detrimental as it may attract grit and dirt into any creases and eventually result in cracking. Be guided by your handbook
  2. This was the second visit to the school, a few years back we attended a performance of the dancing stallions. What beauty and elegance. As an enthusiastic rider in my younger years I really appreciated the horsemanship. Their life is dedicated to the perfection and continuation of those skills, true masters
  3. Make sure that the memory stick is formatted as FAT32 Windows will automatically format anything to exFAT, which the Lexus system will not recognise
  4. Sorry John, wrong country
  5. Give that man a cigar! Well spotted Renato. A wonderful venue with a rather disconcerting fire curtain! Not something one can forget easily, believe me I've tried 🥺 We're having a short break in Vienna and just back from a tour through Die Spanische Hofreitschule What a pampered life those stallions lead 😎 Some had just finished a performance and went straight under the infrared lamps to relax the muscles. Beautiful creatures.
  6. Correct country but not the city..
  7. You are very very close! We have just come from a performance of Sleeping Beauty (not a particularly good performance IMHO) taking in the chilly night air before a nightcap
  8. If it's fitted to your model it will be part of the climate control so should have a button option. It will only de-ice the screen directly beneath the parked wipers
  9. I found the seat moving back disconcerting and once I'd disabled that part of the function via the menu options I found the steering wheel as it retracted got closer to the seat and restricted my egress . In my RC the steering wheel rose as it retracted so wasn't a problem
  10. My steering wheel was slightly off centre and it was throwing out the parking guidance lines.
  11. I just had this function disabled and it has to be done via Techstream. My dealer did it foc. I think you will need to get the codes read to see what's going on.
  12. Definitely the latter and climate concierge works brilliantly automatically detecting passengers and disabling ventilation where it's not needed, making the system super efficient
  13. Don't know if this helps? Really to get the best from the regenerative braking one must plan well ahead, brake gently and continuously. Late heavy braking will invoke the hydraulic brakes and increase wear on the pads and discs. The regen braking will take the speed down to approx 5mph before the hydraulics kicks in. Stamp on the brakes and it's 100% hydraulic
  14. I believe the fin houses the GPS and phone antennae Radio both FM and DAB antennae are on the rear and rear quarter windows at least on my RC..
  15. And it seems E10 could cause issues in the colder months... https://www.fleetpoint.org/fuel/e10-performance-issues-likely-to-get-worse-over-winter/ https://www.express.co.uk/life-style/cars/1687376/E10-petrol-driver-warning-winter-damage-exclusive
  16. I would highly recommend leaving the a/c ON this will condition the cabin air, removing dampness in the cooler months and prevent the windows steaming up. Additionally leaving the a/c ON helps lubricate the system seals, preventing them drying out and leaks developing. The climate control system really does operate far more efficiently and effectively if the a/c is on and the system set to automatic, just set the temperature you find comfortable and let the car do what it's designed to do.
  17. Could it be the climate control? The fans don't start up immediately on starting the car. Being in EV mode could it be some form of cabin and/or battery pre-heater?
  18. Be aware that there appears to be no stock of either the Continental or Michelin all season tyres in the 235/520 size, despite showing on numerous websites. Neither company could advise when stock would arrive
  19. All you wanted to know about replacing tyres in pairs.. https://www.oponeo.co.uk/blog/better-tyres-in-the-front-or-back-test-results
  20. Not Lexus UK but a dealer problem. My dealer took my car in Monday to adjust the off-centre steering wheel (noted when I purchased the car) they had the car on the ramps for 3hrs adjusting the suspension geometry. All sorted and no charge, I didn't even have to say anything. So, I believe the problem sits with the dealership, not Lexus generally.. With regards to the OP's problem I think he should return the car get his money back and seek another dealer and car. Or take it to a tyre shop and get the tracking sorted, they deal with seized components all the time. He has more important things to worry about (weekly hospital appointments?)
  21. No trips recorded since 10th Oct maybe it's a problem their end?
  22. It's in your handbook, don't have one? Download it from the Lexus website. From my handbook, which I imagine will be similar to the US version..
  23. How have you started the car on previous occasions? Personally I wouldn't recommend sitting with the car in Accessory mode as you have found you run down the 12v battery. Much better would be to leave the car in Ready mode, in Park and let the car manage the traction battery charge level by running the ICE as needed. Additional benefit is the climate control still keeps one cool/warm ...
