    But only to those in the know. Joe Public think it's a very powerful and fast car, certainly from the comments I've had with my Sonic Red RC300h. Even my (very fast and powerful) AMG didn't attract as many admiring glances and comments. Even the Boys in Blue are paying me far too much attention, never had this with any previous car.... Loving it

    On mine it's tucked away in the under-dash panel, just above the pedals... One has to get right down in the footwell to see it..

    This guy has shed light on how the whole E-CVT transmission works for me. At last I can visualise the system and have a feeling of what's going on when I press the Go pedal. Probably been shown/discussed before but it works for me, so thought I'd share And this video explains the evolution and rationale behind it's development.

    Tyres don't wear 2" .... Also Lexus wouldn't sell a car with a tyre size that rubs (when reversing) when new. Is the tyres size as given in the handbook?

    As I already suggested above, loose arch liner but the question is why has it become loose/warped since new tyres fitted? Something the fitter did? Can't imagine what... Second thought, do you have staggered wheel set up? Wider rims on the rear? Still puzzling why it only does it when reversing

    Once the odour has been eliminated, always run the a/c, never switch it off. The dehumidification of the incoming air will help prevent bacteria growing

    Surely the lip is where the pads don't contact the disc? I don't see how the lip would cause squeal. All discs form a lip as they wear. A contaminated disc could and changing them just removed the contaminant?

    So, use bluetooth and your phone's GSM connection to rule out that possibility. ... If you're connecting ok to the car, the problem seems to be with your portal connection from the car. So that would point toward the credentials you've entered into the set-up in the sat-nav. Have you cleared all your logon details saved in the sat-nav and re entered your portal ID (not your Portal log in) and your password?

    As I understand it the adaptive part is just how stiff the dampers are, switching to Sport+ just changes the valve setting in the damper. The ride height doesn't change. Check out the tuning firms in the States and Japan, there are a number that do lowering springs. Just make sure they specifically state for the hybrid because of the extra weight.

    My thoughts are one should always match dampers with springs. If you fit shorter springs you really should dampers with shorter travel. I'd never fit second hand dampers..
