  1. The Lexus configurator gives the red leather in the RC-F as "Red Leather" LA31 and in the RC F-Sport as "Dark Rose" LC33.
  2. SRP does a good job at masking swirls with it's fillers but doesn't really last that well without being covered with a good wax. Yes Collinite 915 is a wax, lasts very well.
  3. Looks fantastic, well done! Not a fan of Autoglym's SRP. Are you polishing to remove swirls? Personally I'd use Meg's Ultimate polish and then seal the surface with Carlack'69 before applying a wax, Collinite 915 is my favourite. That all said your car looks very good, so perhaps it's just personal preferences. Except the sealant
  4. A little taster.. the relevant bit starts at about 1:40
  5. Back button works fine for me. Using Win10 and Chrome browser and Android mobile. Try logging out, clearing cookies and browser history and log back in.
  6. Have you checked the power steering fluid level and belt tension?
  7. True. I do wonder why Lexus don't offer this option in the UK though
  8. Any option could be retro-fitted but at what cost? That said I can't imagine the heated 'wheel would be that difficult, if it was offered as an option on your model year. New 'wheel, switch, wiring and probably steering column contact spiral. Plus coding the system
  9. It may but I wouldn't trust the propellant/solvent not to remove the leather coating
  10. Vauxhall Firenza HP (aka Droop Snoot), Vauxhall Chevette HS, Vauxhall Chevette HSR Info .. http://www.droopsnoot.co.uk/cars.htm
  11. I had the Williams ceramic coating applied prior to me collecting my new RC. 6 months and 5k miles on it still beading well..
  12. Try this from Gliptone https://www.liquidleather.com/furniture-leather-cleaners/47-inkstick-5060033829059.html
  13. I concur, after nearly 5k miles in my RC over some truly appalling roads, no rattles, buzzes or squeaks.. I do have to make sure the glove box and centre armrest cubby are carefully packed otherwise keys or even papers (yes papers!) can cause aural irritations
  14. Loved these Actually did own one briefly, swapped it for one of these.. Which was morphed into Fantastic fun, amazing acceleration (for the day) with low ratio diff giving a max speed of only 100mph Probably not good to revisit one's youth, high disappointment potential ...
  15. Are you using cheap/ebay/chinese replacements? Are the lamps fitting nice and securely, as a loose connection can cause premature failure.
  16. Seat bolsters are a common weakness on current Mercs. They split and wear terribly and even the nappa leather covers aren't all they should be. Mercedes has lost it's way IMHO, sacrificing build quality and reliability on the alter of sales at any cost. MB's are as common as Ford and Vauxhall nowadays The C63 is an awesome car but not 'special' the AMG label has been so diluted
  17. What year is the car? How many miles has the car done?
  18. One often hears about "garage queens" being that much less reliable. A car needs to be exercised and serviced regularly
  19. Using the brakes instead of using engine braking on long downhill descents is one of the biggest differences in driving a hybrid over a 'normal' ICE car
  20. Not me, not enough money to buy a true classic and not enough time left to see a speculative example mature ...
  21. In my RC when one selects Sport+ it will set the suspension to it's firmest setting. My understanding is the 'adaptive' part no longer functions. When in Normal and Sport the dampers will constantly adjust to provide the best ride whilst firming the required damper(s) when cornering to maintain a virtually roll-free stance. Very accomplished IMHO and far better than the AMG airmatic in my previous car.
