    What £2300 kit?? I'd imagine there's going to be a requirement to remap the ECU, change the fuelling, possibly the injectors.

    To turn it back on, if it has been switched off, one simply presses any button on the Audio panel or the remote touch

    Firstly, I am not an electrician ... I would suggest something like this, IP56 or IP66 rated I assume you will be wiring into a secondary distribution/MCB box inside the summerhouse? Why not take the armoured cable directly into the distribution box inside?

    On the Nav Menu screen, select Display then Screen Off. At least that's how it works on my Premium Nav (2016 version)

    I used the reg plate tape sold in Halfords on a previous car and had to destroy the plate to get it off when I changed cars... The correct tape is far more secure, in all senses, than screws

    Welcome to my world, the RC is the most attention grabbing car I've ever driven! Constantly being 'shadowed' by Beemers and Mercs, never mind the Police! Is it the design of the rim or, more likely, the type of tyre fitted? The Bridgestones that came on the RC from the factory have a very generous rim protector ridge, as did the Michelins on my CLS. I'm guessing the tyres aren't factory originals?

    Modern models are adjustable 'on the fly' by the driver. Perhaps older models can be done via Techstream? That said I do think we now expect lights on much earlier than years ago, before the advent of 'automatic' headlamps..

    IME , albeit from Mercedes, is that batteries from the dealership are the best option. Yours has lasted 13yrs? why go for something different?
