  1. The suspension geometry will need checking and probably correcting once the ride height is changed.
  2. Williams ceramic coating, topped with Meg's Xpress spray wax
  3. Did Paddy rate them as genuine, just not to Lexus original quality? Or were they, erm, copies?
  4. The C270 was silent when cruising, pleasantly gruff exhaust note under acceleration. Only at idle did one really hear the engine. Did 130k miles of trouble free motoring in that car, averaged an easy 50+mpg on a run.
  5. @Big Rat I hope they are genuine Brembo parts. Wouldn't be the first time ECP have sold copies masquerading as genuine ...
  6. I'd be interested also. Never had covers on any security bolts before. My RC didn't come with any ...
  7. Well a hybrid holds the track record at the 'Ring. OK, not an RC300h, not even a Lexus
  8. I had the C270cdi with Sports Pack. The ride was very 'jiggly' far too rebound happy. I fitted Bilstein coil-overs and transformed the ride. Far more controlled, cornered on rails and tracked beautifully despite our less than wonderful UK roads. I'd say it handled better than my CLS55
  9. Surely an enthusiast would see it as a challenge? As an enthusiastic driver I take pleasure in driving anything to it's full potential I'd love to see Sabine take the RC300h round the 'Ring Just how much slower would it be, compared to the RC-F
  10. My alloys have been sealed by the dealer using Williams ceramic coating. A quick wipe over removes all dirt and brake dust. No alloy cleaner required. I also use Wheel Woolies every other wash, just to get to the back of the barrels. No scrubbing.
  11. Just park clear of kerbs etc., Just as one does to avoid kerbing one's alloys.
  12. Or simply park further back from the kerb! I fitted coil-overs to my C class, 35mm drop from standard and never had an issue. Yes needed care over speed bumps but was worth it for the stance. That all said I would never just change the springs, you need to match them with the correct dampers.
  13. Waste-gate pop? Best buy a car already turbo'd IMO
  14. I've no idea how close to the design limit the standard spec output is. What do you expect the increase in power to be?
  15. Always had a good service from Autoglass. It is a franchise though, hopefully you'll be fine. Is it being done on your driveway?
  16. Well obviously check everything works before signing off on the job. Who's fitting the new 'screen? Have you provided the VIN so they can be sure of supplying the correct version? I'd be making sure the fitter protects the surrounding bodywork and dashboard.
  17. What £2300 kit?? I'd imagine there's going to be a requirement to remap the ECU, change the fuelling, possibly the injectors.
  18. Not to mention they would have to provide service support, not cheap either...
  19. As so often, no shortcuts, proper job well done
  20. Moonroof is just the Japanese term for sunroof AFAIK there is not difference, just terminology.
  21. So, state one's opinion, don't try and defend or justify it. It's just an opinion after all One post does it ...
