    Mmm, I've not had a car that exhibited abnormal tyre wear! My RC has very even wear across both front and rear tyres, only 6k miles so far though. Hopefully Lexus won't disappoint me...

    Depends how 'they' have calculated the system BHP. Being a hybrid it's not as easy as for simple petrol/diesel engines.

    Similar bhp but it also has engine valve problems. Make sure MB have replaced the tappets.

    Don't the paddle shifts work in Eco or Normal? Or do you mean S mode for the transmission?

    Does this car have a crankshaft sensor? This is classic symptoms of sensor failure, certainly from a Mercedes model. The sensor fails when hot and once cooled down works again.

    Certainly the RC300h F-Sport cries out to be lowered. Plenty of gap underneath

    I suppose it comes down to does one want a car or a mobile concert hall? A sound system in a tin box rumbling along the road is never going to give an audiophile any sense of satisfaction. But then music has never featured high in my requirements from a car, performance, handling, ride and safety, yes

    Mine has AVS, in all modes other than Sport+ they constantly adjust depending on the road surface and driver inputs, ie steering, accelerating and braking. There is no discernible difference in ride quality until one selects Sport+ when the ride firms up significantly.

    Is that country, urban or town driving? My usual trip is 9 miles of a mixture of all three, fast country (50-60mph) and slow town/urban (<30mph) and I am getting 46mpg ave using Normal and then Sport on the country section.

    Leave the autobox in D when stopped at lights etc.. Shifting back and forth between D and P will add extra wear to the select mechanism. All handbooks I've read always advise leaving in D unless stopped for a long period. Shifting to N in a hybrid is not recommended as the system cannot recharge the traction battery.

    The CLS came with Pirelli Zeros and they were, erm, interesting in the wet. I had to change them when only at 4mm. The Michelins would grip whatever the conditions (frost excepted, no grip.. another story. I fully endorse the use of winter/cold weather tyres) I ran one set down to the legal min without drama, no sudden change in character but... if "pushing on" there was a drop in ultimate traction.

    RC has 7 speakers as standard, optional 12 speaker with Premium Navigation or 17 speakers with Premium Nav and ML 12 speaker layout is, door speakers are dual cone, as are the speakers in the rear side panels. three speakers are in the dash top panel (each end and centre) and then there's the sub in the rear parcel shelf.     One can apply any of the wax types on top of the coatings. Just avoid any that have fillers or abrasives. I use Meguires X-spress spray wax on my ceramic coating, just gives that extra slick feeling to the surface.

    Not on my RC but always on my CLS55, excellent grip, dry or wet. The Michelin PS just don't have a 'cliff' grip all the way down 3mm, possibly beyond but I always change at 3mm..
