  1. On my 2016 RC one can adjust the image quality using the Menu - Display option #4, do you have a similar option?
  2. I think this has to be set by the dealership, certainly on my 2016 RC it's a dealer configurable option.
  3. Did you try the hard stops? I get no 'judder' from the regen system on my hybrid. The only noise is a groan at the point of stopping and then only in slow stop-start traffic.
  4. I imagine the vast majority don't bother with insurance. Spend the money on vodka instead..
  5. I don't need anything special, just usable. To say the Lexus Nav system is good or bad is very subjective. I grant it isn't intuitive in it's operation but practice makes perfect Personally I dislike "add-ons" and using my phone as a Nav system, it's a communication device. All very personal and subjective. I'm perfectly happy with the Lexus system
  6. @Linas.P I find the Premium Nav eminently usable, completely satisfactory and very convenient. It's connected services work very well and I haven't found it wanting in getting me from A to B My phone stays safely stowed in the centre cubby..
  7. I've used it in the past on my AMG and it made a significant difference on how the engine runs. Now I use it in my RC300h because it can't do any harm and it may, just may, do some good. It's extra cost is insignificant but it's peace of mind measurable
  8. £1995 for the Premium Nav option, then another £1000 for the ML. Personally I couldn't justify £1k on a sound system in a car. I find the 10 speaker Premium Nav sound more than adequate. I would prefer to spend it on my home system, where the acoustics are far more controllable ...
  9. The 10 speaker Premium Nav comes as an option on the RC300h, the Mark Levinson 17 speaker sound system is only available as part pf the Premium Nav system. There's also an option of Lexus Nav system that comes with the standard 7 speaker sound system. The 17 speaker ML + Premium Nav system is only standard on the RC300h Premier model. The 6 Speaker/1CD, Lexus Media Display , DAB, Rotary Remote Touch Controller is standard on the Sport and Luxury models
  10. There's nothing to loose by using the likes of V Power and possibly gaining a cleaner engine. At approximately £5 extra a tank it's worth it IMHO.
  11. Options never add value to a car, they add saleability
  12. Ooo! I lurv that pink colour do Lexus do a shade similar? Would match my eyes this morning
  13. Surely the best audio in the RC-F must be the engine and exhaust? I hardly ever listen to the radio/CD in my AMG, the supercharger/engine and exhaust were the greatest symphony possible...
  14. Try the Contact Us link at the foot of every page?
  15. Also from the link I posted - "Don’t have a Stereo Mix option? No problem. Audacity has a useful feature that will can record the audio coming out of your computer even without Stereo Mix. In fact, Audacity’s feature may be even better than Stereo Mix "
  16. You can use software to make personal recordings of the audio from your PC, see link below. https://www.howtogeek.com/217348/how-to-record-the-sound-coming-from-your-pc-even-without-stereo-mix/
  17. Almost managed the same from my 5.5ltr supercharged AMG, 27.5mpg over 280 miles. Motorway to and 'B' roads round the Lake District..
  18. IIRC the Volvo has the front cross traffic function and Audi have the Lane following assistance, with auto steering, I found it rather curious sensation when I test drove the TTS. Both Volvo and Audi have a form of self drive capability. Mercedes have change assist. My experience of Lexus in car tech is that it isn't cutting edge but somewhat more driver configurable
  19. None of which are ground breaking. Only the reverse auto-brake is something I've not seen in other cars. The rest are relatively 'old hat'
  20. Anybody come across these dash cams before? Seems a very neat solution, if you own one of the models supported... http://www.kammu.com/shop/dash-cam/lexus-dashcam-dvr-1000-exclusively-designed-for-es300h-es250-rx270-gx400-es-is-ct/

How to initialize the tire pressure warning system Park the vehicle in a safe place and turn the power switch off. Initialization cannot be performed while the vehicle is moving. Adjust the tire inflation pressure to the specified cold tire inflation pressure level. The tire pressure warning system will operate based on this pressure level. Turn the power switch to ON mode. Press and hold the tire pressure warning reset switch until the tire pressure warning light blinks slowly 3 times. Wait for a few minutes with the power switch in ON mode and then turn the power switch off.
