  1. You can use "Chargeback" for Debit cards (any amount) and Credit cards (less than £100) http://www.gocompare.com/credit-cards/chargeback-for-refunds-on-credit-and-debit-cards/ https://www.money.co.uk/current-accounts/is-debit-card-protection-the-same-as-for-credit-cards.htm
  2. As worn by the character "Harry Sims" in the movie Inferno
  3. "Plaintiff – the former term for the party who initiates a lawsuit. It was replaced in 1999 under the Civil Procedure Rules by the term claimant." https://www.innertemplelibrary.org.uk/research-and-training/glossary/#P
  4. We had a SEAT Alhambra (Ford Galaxy clone, built in the same factory) with the winter pack which included the heated windscreen. Wonderful option and sorely missed on subsequent cars. No issues with insurance replacement of the screen, although I thought the wires were more obvious in the replacement. Any manufacturer can fit the heated screens, they just have to pay Ford for the privilege. Mercedes offer the option but only on their Protection (high security, armoured) models.
  5. Only Ford and Ford licensed manufacturers (i.e. not Lexus) have heated windscreens. Great shame IMHO..
  6. Graphic content, those of a nervous nature beware... Mad collection of clips but the Lexus content is at 1:00 A little too much rear downforce?
  7. On my Premium Nav one would select Menu-Nav-My Memory-Home then select delete from the options. Personally I would also delete all personal data by using the Menu-General Settings-Delete Personal Data
  8. Your Lexus dealership ...
  9. That's my understanding. The RC300h is limited to 112mph simply because it doesn't have the additional power splitter device the GS/RX have to reduce the electric motor rpm
  10. Just signed in, no probs...
  11. Just curious, what's the origin of the word "duggets"?
  12. All handbooks for automatic cars I've seen state leaving the car in D unless stopped for "a prolonged period". Personally never been dazzled by brake lights
  13. A cheap tracker can but the better ones have various frequencies to keep working. Which make/model of tracker is being fitted? Some require fitting by registered fitters and a certificate issued before they are activated.
  14. The less scrupulous dealer might add some sawdust to the oil to quieten a noisy diff How long do you expect to keep the car? An additive might be a short term solution but my preference would be to diagnose what the noise is. Might be simply a slight adjustment of the crown thrust bearing.
  15. Just checked the service sheet from Lexus-tech.eu for both the RF300h and the RC-F Just as the post in my link stated. Use the LT for standard or torque vectoring diffs and the LX for the LSD diff
  16. The posts in the link seem to suggest 'LT' is for non-LSD equipped cars, 'LX' for those with LSD?
  17. The 'LT' prefix may be important.. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23966
  18. I saw that but wondered if it was the same grade?
  19. In my RC one can set voice guidance to off using the menu setting Setup - Voice - auto voice guidance On/Off
  20. 369 days from delivery and just 7500 miles later my RC had it's first service today. All went as expected, no issues, hybrid health checked ok. Dealer was superb, very accommodating, right up to when I requested their LC500 as my courtesy car No amount of cajoling would change their mind. So away I went in a brand new CT200h... If it didn't have a Lexus badge on it I would never have equated the two .. I'm sure the car fulfils a purpose but my word I found the car terrible. The ride was so hard I'm sure I've chipped a tooth. The seat was totally unsupportive, no amount of adjustment helped. What on earth is that gear selector all about? The engine sounded like a rolling tin , half filled with nuts and bolts. The throttle had no resistance behind it, not that it mattered really, there appeared to be no power either! The e-CVT clunked in and out of D, N and R. When the ICE cut in or out there was a hefty jolt. I had to double check the driver's window was closed properly the wind noise was so bad above 50mph. On returning the car I suggested a tech take it out for a drive. All perfectly 'normal' ... Getting back in my RC was like slipping on a nappa leather glove, so smooth, silent, comfortable. I really can't believe how different the two cars are.

  23. According to "How Many Left" website there are only 6 LC variants registered in the UK https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/?utf8=✓&q=lexus+lc500&commit=Search
  24. 2016 RC300h came with an owner's handbook and nothing at all for the infotainment. That said the handbook and in depth information on the Audio/Sat Nav etc is downloadable from the My Lexus portal, much easier to search and read
