  1. Is it not with the front screen wash pump, in the reservoir?
  2. I thought the regulations only applied to the front side windows and windscreen. The rear side and rear screen can be as dark as one wishes. Think vans, they effectively have 100% tints..... If yo wish to have no, or very lightly tinted rear glass you would need to replace the factory glass with clear and have film of the desired tint applied.
  3. I went with Continental ContiCrossContact UHP. They seem to be quiet and grip well. I would have gone with the Michelin CrossClimate but Michelin couldn't say when they would be available again in the UK (in the size required)
  4. Below ~40mph the adaptive system will keep the main beams off, does the light intensity increase significantly if you pull the light stalk so as to flash the headlamps? The attached tech doc might be of interest LIGHTING SYSTEM CONTROL ADAPTIVE HIGH-BEAM SYSTEM (AHS).pdf
  5. What type of headlamp do you have? Do you have the adaptive light system?
  6. I think I would remove it. I doubt it would go back perfectly flat anyway. The underneath trim looks to be unmarked.
  7. Now I'm not afraid of heights (of falling, yes!) but this film had me squirming ...
  8. No, you didn't ... My experience of working with both Japanese and America companies there is a fundamental difference in worker attitudes. The Japanese take a very personal pride in their work ...
  9. Check your phone compatibility here https://www.lexus-tech.eu/bluetooth/searchdedicated.aspx
  10. Yes, my Mercs' mirrors were heated automatically at temps below ~9c, no way to switch them on or off manually and they never had a hint of mist/water on them either!
  11. To operate the rear window defogger and the heated exterior rear view mirrors one must press the defogger switch (H) on the climate control panel
  12. In my RC, no problem. In the RX the first morning bad, after that nothing. Cabin volume?
  13. It's only on the first morning of the cold snap that the windscreen fogs up. If we get consecutive days of cold, no problems..
  14. Not experienced this on my 2020 RX, although the HUD does dim slightly when in Park. I think it's a fault that needs dealer intervention..
  15. The a/c would be off anyway as it doesn't operate at temps below ~5c, air recirc would be set to external by the climate control, if you have auto option...
  16. I'm sure the cooler weather plus the salt deposits won't be helping either...
  17. Just changing the tyre section will have minimal effect on ride. Changing wheel diameter with a corresponding increase in tyre section to maintain the rolling circumference is the better way to go. Don't forget to consult with your insurers first, shouldn't be a problem as long as the model was optioned with the smaller wheel size originally.
  18. With all Lexus hybrids the brakes only come into use at low speeds (unless one does an emergency stop) and on every one I've driven the brakes groan when coming to a slow stop. Releasing the brake pedal just before a complete stop sometimes prevents it but TBH it doesn't bother me anymore.
  19. I think if visibility or light levels are that low then perhaps all lights should be on? Why bother with DRLs at all and why not have all side/rear/dipped beam lights on all the time? I believe this what the Scandinavians pioneered many years before the EU dictated DRLs be fitted.
  20. Again, from the handbook - " Charging power will not be output during standby." So, there will be no EMF until the tray detects a QI compatible device?
  21. I just learnt a new word there! (yes I had to look it up)
