  1. How did they determine this?
  2. Good luck with this, I fitted competition engine mounts to my HSR.... Forget seeing anything in the RVM!! Any drive longer than 20min was very tiresome (can one get 'white finger' of the backside?) A quick blip on the throttle would unsettle the front end terribly.. Swapped them out for the STD version very quickly.
  3. It heats the lower part of the windscreen where the wiper parks to prevent them from sticking to the screen
  4. This is a good explanation of the differences and pros/cons of each system https://www.digitaltrends.com/cars/whats-the-difference-between-four-wheel-drive-and-all-wheel-drive/
  5. This is for my RC but I believe the button location is similar for most models? It is very awkward to access ... How to initialise the tire pressure warning system Park the vehicle in a safe place and turn the power switch off. Initialisation cannot be performed while the vehicle is moving. Adjust the tire inflation pressure to the specified cold tire inflation pressure level. Make sure to adjust the tire pressure to the specified cold tire inflation pressure level. The tire pressure warning system will operate based on this pressure level. Turn the power switch to ON mode. Press and hold the tire pressure warning reset switch until the tire pressure warning light blinks slowly 3 times. Wait for a few minutes with the power switch in ON mode and then turn the power switch off.
  6. This is what you need then .. GENUINE LEXUS JAPAN 2015-2017 RC F-SPORT SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL GLASS PREMIUM CLOCK https://lexusboutique.net/collections/rc-300h-2015-2017/products/genuine-lexus-japan-2015-2017-rc-f-sport-sapphire-crystal-glass-premium-clock
  7. That's the US manual, there should be an EU version
  8. Perfectly normal (and annoying in stop/start traffic!). I think there's a combination of accelerator position and engine load (hill ect..) that can trigger cancellation. I can get up to 15-20 mph from standstill in EV mode but only on a warm engine. Don't forget in this cold weather the engine will start just to keep the cabin warm.
  9. Yup, doesn't get the clothes any cleaner but the machine keeps functioning at it's best for longer Bottom line is one isn't going to cause any damage
  10. It's fine but super is better
  11. Just don't use fuel with an octane rating of lower than 95 RON ...
  12. But it's not all about octane rating. I use V-Power for the additives, keeping the engine/fuel system clean.
  13. The boot swings open completely and quite gently, on my RC300h. Just how I would expect the function to work.
  14. Sorry, I voted before realising it was an F related question.. That said I always use V-Power, it's only an extra few quid per fill, not worth worrying about.
  15. Premium Nav? Press the Menu button, select Nav, select Menu, select My Memory, select Home, then select the desired option (register/edit/delete)
  16. As I posted above, why not have Autoglass (or another company) replace the dark glass with clear?
  17. I'm sure a company such as Autoglass could replace the privacy rears with clear glass.
  18. May be ok for the older cars but on modern models there are systems that require constant power, that require 'normalisation' once power is reconnected. Trickle chargers are anything but a waste of money, they maintain a constant charge level, keeping all systems 'normal'. Many high-end, high performance models, that probably wouldn't be used regularly have charge points factory fitted for easy connection to the maintenance charger.
  19. Issue 2 - Make sure you run the a/c all the time. Check the cabin filter condition. Check the scuttle drains are clear. Check the insulation under the carpets in the footwells.
  20. All my visits to the dealership are listed under the Service History, the PDI and one annual service, even down to my purchase of screen wash! Quite a bit of detail under each entry as well, pleasantly surprised TBH
  21. What Lexus is really missing is a speed limiter, much more useful than cruise control IMHO
  22. Fascinating watching the BPM during the technical bits. Thanks for posting, I need a lie down now!!
  23. Indeed, diesel isn't the engine I'd automatically expect within a hybrid. Too rough, harder to spin up at start and noisy. The auto box seems very inconsistent, some say it's wonderful, other jerky and sluggish. E-CVT is definitely the way to go. a wonderful revelation to me after years of 'normal' automatics..
