    The part is available from pretty much any tyre shop, as well as dealers. It will need registering with the car's system though, some tyre shops will have the required software to do this, otherwise it will need a dealership.

    Try restarting the NAV system by holding down the ON/Off/Volume button on the centre console with the hybrid system in the ready state.

    Learnt in a manual, never thought of using an auto. Got one as a company car, wow! Great loved it never went back. Then got the eCVT in my RC and wow! So much better than the 'normal' automatic ...

    No, I'm saying turning the function on and off is a driver responsible action. The operation during a drive is automatic, speed, stopping and starting..

    It'll almost certainly be 'knock for knock' with both insurers paying 50%. Unless one or other driver was clearly 'in the wrong', speeding, on the phone, etc..!

    If the other driver is going through his insurers, your insurer will get notified... TBH, you're paying premiums for a reason. I'd inform my insurers and argue it from there. If they discover you didn't declare, could be problems

    How long does that last before it's cancelled and the engine starts up to charge the traction battery? Doesn't the engine kick in to provide heat for the cabin? If I'm parked up waiting, I just pull up and leave it in Ready mode..

    They've basically stated the one option that they can be certain will not cause an issue with that engine. The legal dept has sanctioned the reply, arse covering.. Cynical, me??

    Surely the auto part of the function is the variable speed of operation. Switching them on/off is still manual. I'd second the function resetting on cycling the IGN. It's painful when the wipers sweep across a dry screen...

    Difficult to separate them. One needs a good cross tyre tread pattern with many sipes. One also needs a soft compound to allow the tread to flex and move at the lower temperatures.

    Not sure I understand how a knock sensor could determine fuel remaining? I would have thought the tank level sensor would trigger the warning with the range then being calculated by the OBC using the current average mpg?

    Looks great on the outside, I just love black cars, just hate trying to keep them clean!! The inside is just too dark for my taste

    The a/c compressor will shut down when temperatures approach zero, this is to prevent the condenser freezing up.

    Were 'they' a Lexus dealership? I had my Merc lowered and had no issues getting the geometry done

    Mercs get heated nozzles, some even heated washer fluid reservoirs. The door mirrors are heated automatically at temps below 12c, great for drying off rain/condensation. So, Lexus offer heated wipers (screen heated under the parked wiper) but no heated washer nozzles? Must admit hadn't noticed the lack of heated nozzles, my screen wash has been working fine the last few days..

    I force EV mode when leaving/returning home early/late or in car parks. In traffic I let the car sort itself out ..
