A damp cloth for routine cleaning and I use Meguiar's Quick interior Detailer for those occasional marks that won't come off with water (my wife loves using hand cream and body lotion that seems to get on door cards and dash lower panels)

Mmmm, I certainly did get transfer onto my clove coloured leather in the RC and do have transfer onto the white bolsters of my RX, (guess also onto the black centres but it's not visible) but it's relatively easily removed using the giant 'Pritt Stick' stain remover included in the Lexus leather cleaning kit. All modern car leathers are PU coated, sealed and impervious. So this is just a surface effect. Some high end models have semi aniline leather which is 'naked' and must be cleaned and treated differently (try the water drop test, apply a drop of water onto the leather, if it's absorbed, naked leather, if it just sits there, sealed leather). I had my C class Mercedes retrimmed with naked nappa leather. Sumptuously soft and smelled lovely but OMG was it a pain to maintain, never again.... Cracking in the surface on 'normal' car seats is just grit and muck eroding the PU coating in the creases. Good routine cleaning with a damp cloth is really all that's needed. Conditioners just sit on the surface and can actually exacerbate the problem by attracting dirt, as it cannot be absorbed by the leather. Leather colourants and restorers work well by resealing the surface, filling the cracks. Seats must be scrupulously clean before applying.

“Plan journeys from home “

Do you have auto download enabled? Have you gone through the menu and requested connection to the server? Try tethering you mobile to the car via bluetooth? -

I believe the successfully sent means it has been received into the Lexus servers. One then has to make sure one's phone is providing internet tethering in the car for the connection to be made to the servers. I have auto-download set in the car and always get my routes delivered to the car without fail. -
NX350h - bulge in tyre
NemesisUK replied to Andy B's topic in Lexus NX300h / NX200t / NX350h / NX450h+ Club
Yes but if the council isn't aware of the the pothole how can they repair it? Problem is there is no preventative maintenance anymore, no one from the council driving each road checking condition ... -

They will only be liable if the pothole has been reported to them and around here that has to have been at least 24hrs previous to the when the damage occured -

I would too but remember you won't have a jack or spare wheel/repair gel so you might want to make provision for these. -
Au contraire, I think they are perfectly suited to hilly. mountainous roads. Battery assistance on the way up and regenerative braking on the way down. As for the cruise control not slowing one down, that is slightly irksome but if one is following another car it will slow to keep distance, other wise gently brake and recover the energy to the battery, something the Kia couldn't do and wasted that energy to heat and wear on the pads/discs. Regarding the voice guidance all one can do is adjust the voice volume, unless one is blasting out the music one can still hear quite clearly. The guidance is also given in the cluster and HUD.

It's Cancelled.

Has the car actually been built or is it just the build slot that has been freed up? -
Doesn't surprise me as there is no more power in Sport mode, it's just how it's made available. If one drives as one always does, the fact one has to depress the throttle slightly less for the same progress, will give the same economy. My RC300h be it in Sport or Normal mode always returned the same(ish) mpg unless I was 'enjoying' myself....

There is no plural form of Lexus as there is only one company with that brand name (whatever it stands for*) A car park may be full of Lexus cars, or there may only be one Lexus car parked there. *"Many people believe Lexus stands for “Luxury Export To The United States”, or a similar variation – fitting as Lexus was first released to the USA market in 1989. However, this theory has been discredited by the Japanese Lexus advertising division Team One. According to Team One interviews, the brand name has no specific meaning and simply denotes a luxurious and technological image."

If it's not a settings issue, let the dealership sort it, it's under warranty! -

When I ordered both my RC cars I was given the ship name, unprompted, as soon as the car was loaded. Must say Lexus Swindon have always been very good on the communications front.👍 -
New owner of IS200t advice, tunes?
NemesisUK replied to Kam_Lexus_IS_200t's topic in Lexus IS 300h / IS 250 / IS 200t Club
Seems it is already on cars, at least my 2020 RX has whats called "Intelligent Clearance Sonar System" and the example given to describe it is where the driver selects D instead of R to reverse out of a parking space and accelerates, the system detects the wall in front and reduces torque and applies the brakes. Similarly when pulling into a space the driver hit the accelerator instead of the brake the system takes over, disabling the throttle and applies the brakes. -
Does the dash illuminate with just the DRLs on? I haven't noticed this. DRLs were introduced to make approaching vehicles more visible to pedestrians, so illuminating the rear lights would be pointless. Most modern cars with DRLs also have auto headlamps, unless the drivers are switching them off because "they come on too soon" ...

I had this function in my Mercedes, after the wipers operate for 30sec the headlamps come on automatically. This is a legal requirement in Germany (EU?), that headlamps are on in rain, I assumed MB simply automated the sequence. Not sure if that is a requirement in Japan but must admit to missing it on my Lexus cars. It's not something I've seen as a customisable feature in any tech doc.
