  1. Looks like your model doesn't display individual tyre pressures. It's a simple fault indication with warning light. Your handbook also doesn't indicate one can register two sets of ID codes, implying one will have to get the dealership to swap the wheels over come spring and register that set of ID codes to the system again. My apologies, my posts above don't appear relevant to your model.
  2. That Xmas present is going to take some wrapping!! Christmas can't come quickly enough, enjoy..
  3. Firstly, it's illegal and an MoT failure. What's the problem with the DPF?
  4. In the MFD in the cluster, you will have to scroll through the various options.
  5. This of any use? http://wltpguide.uk/details/Lexus/IS/IS 300h Premier CVT?clk=48&UCID=7837437
  6. I regularly clear the cache and cookies from my browsers. Keeps things fresh and snappy, plus flushes out all those tracking cookies and PUPs
  7. Not if your model/year car can accept two sets of codes, see my post further up. I'm thinking Swindon didn't quite follow the correct procedure when registering the new codes..
  8. The registration must be done via Techstream, my handbook merely mentions the fact two sets can be registered, for when swapping summer/winter wheels. "It is not necessary to register the ID codes when replacing normal tires with snow tires, if the ID codes for the wheels of both normal tires and snow tires are registered beforehand." It directs one to contact the dealership to perform the registration and change-over. Lexus tech doc is the only place I found with info on the 'three press' process This is the doc in question, obviously directed at my model and year, so may not be relevant to others. 9. On my 2016 RC one can register two sets of wheels with TPMS valves to the system and when swapping from one set to the other one has to tell the system of the switch by pressing the TPMS reset button three times within three seconds. I also read in one of the technical docs that for the car to recognise a second set is being registered to the car the first set must be within range so as not to be replaced by the new registrations.
  10. All I do is place my key in a Faraday cage. The spare is switched off. The driveway is gravel and the dog hungry....
  11. Do you need to do anything to tell the car which set of TPMS valves you are using?
  12. Trouble with only one axle having winter tyres is that one axle will always be the wrong one for a given scenario.
  13. I've never used anything but V-Power in my RC300h. The difference in the cost of a tank isn't significant in the scheme of things..
  14. On my RC mileage to next service is one of the trip meters. Have you tried cycling through the trip meters?
  15. Not AFAIK, all information is potentially useful, if not immediately to the OP, then as you say other's will..
  16. Great to meet you in person David. A very nice day at MB World ..
  17. Lexus would be the obvious suggestion but won't be cheap. When I enquired about 18" wheels (for winter tyres) on my RC Lexus quoted ~£2.5k for the four..
