  1. I thought the TPMS light flashes if there is a system error, not simply illuminates as it does to warn of low pressure?
  2. Was looking at a Sonic White version this morning, very nice!
  3. Have a read of this thread, batteries can be replaced..
  4. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/car-chat/898106-2019-lexus-rc-facelift.html
  5. If anything like my 2016 Premium Nav, one has to request the download in the Nav Remote memory menus and then the downloaded destinations should be listed with all the others.
  6. The 2019 RC has the 10.3" multimedia screen. All grades come with Lexus Safety System+ as standard. Centre console has thicker knee cushioning, The suspension has been tweaked, with new shock absorbers, giving a more controlled, compliant ride at lower speeds (plus many more steps in the AVS) harder suspension bushes. The steering has been 'recalibrated' F-Sport comes with painted calipers Subjectively seems quieter inside and less jiggly around town.
  7. Amazing? Or perhaps - https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Mazin
  8. My understanding also. My ceramic coated RC has chipped. The only way I know is to apply PPF (aka 'helicopter tape') available in sheets like vinyl wrap
  9. What sort of roads do you predominantly drive on? I don't have Sonic Titanium but the red version, so same paint process. I collected a stone chip in the second week of ownership but none since. My impression is the paint is no 'softer' than the Mercs I had before.. The model shape can have a massive influence on how easily a car collects stone chips As for prevention, the only thing to do would be a paint protection film. I personally don't like PPF as it's never invisible and being a sacrificial it still gets visibly damaged. The edges show dirt easily. Stone chips are, unfortunately, a fact of driving life
  10. If you are reading using Adobe Acrobat, just input the page number you want to go to in the bar at the top of the window?
  11. Still technically an MoT fail as the light source and lamp not compatible i.e. not type approved
  12. Rather like the look of smoked chrome myself, the dark silver are close. Matt wheel finishes always look dirty/dusty to me.
  13. How about getting a trimmer to look at it for you? Maybe possible to re-profile the backrest cushion?
  14. I have only ever used V-Power in my RC300h As posted above the handbook states the minimum octane, no maximum.
  15. You could try conductive paint to repair the broken element? Approx £10 from Amazon
  16. So, is that the cafe or the market?
  17. Someone mention full English??
  18. Do you think it would have held fine if you hadn't put the transmission into Park, i.e. relied only on the parking brake?
  19. Is the car performing a DPF regen?
  20. MoT test for parking brake is it must hold the vehicle on a 16% gradient or have a minimum efficiency of 16% when tested on a roller brake tester https://www.mot-testing.service.gov.uk/documents/manuals/class3457/Section-1-Brakes.html#section_1.4
  21. I think Lexus are the same as most manufacturers, not including redundant looms.
  22. Pretty sure there won't be any connector or loom present for functions not fitted at the factory..
