  1. Yes and I thought it looked fantastic. So much so I wanted our new RC to be Naples Yellow with red leather but my social secretary/accountant put her foot down firmly on the No side.. So Azure Blue it will be
  2. The one labelled Door F/R ? Could also be a broken wire in the door hinge bellows?
  3. So, you either install a tracker or change insurers. The latter may be more difficult, as you will have been deemed to have cover refused by a previous insurer (condition on fitting tracker) If yo're asking which tracker should you fit, I'd say one from Tracker, I had a Tracker Locate on my AMG, no issues but then never needed to avail myself of their services either....
  4. Well I will be "rubbing their noses in it" next weekend as I am attending the Benz on the Green meet, always a great turnout and fun to catch up with old faces
  5. Indeed .. "Never ASSUME, because when you ASSUME, you make an ***** of U and ME." One thing I'm sure of and that is my new RC will be coming from "the land of the rising sun" and is being assembled in the Tahara plant as I type Can't wait ....
  6. Up until this announcement only the RX and ES were produced outside Japan. The ES in Kentucky being the only American made Lexus. That said Japan also assembles the RX and ES and of course the NX. So with the announcement that the NX will be assembled in Ontario, along with the RX I'm assuming only LH drive vehicles will be made there, the vast bulk of sales being LH drive, Kentucky plant is the largest Toyota/Lexus assembly plant in the world. Lexus sales in the US outstrip the ROW combined. I'd imagine Japan will continue assembling the RH drive versions for the home market along with the UK, Australia etc...
  7. Will that be just for the North American market? Would have thought Toyota would keep right-hand drive production in Japan, meaning UK cars would still be made in Japan.
  8. Love it. The RC, with it's many curves and angles suits this type of colour changing wrap.
  9. I suppose one could include Mercedes in that case but you've already paid for those updates in the initial price (and not insignificant depreciation)?
  10. Tyre pressures are determined by axle weight, so as long as you are using the correct (that is as original) tyre load rating, pressures should be the same irrespective of profile. Bottom line is never go below the minimum pressures as printed in the handbook but experiment upwards (but below the max inflation pressure as stated on the tyre sidewall) to give the best compromise between wear and ride comfort. Also maintain any front to rear differentials in pressures
  11. Is it not stated on a label on the driver's B pillar, or possibly the fuel filler flap?
  12. Well it's got to 145k on whatever you have been using to date, stay with it!!
  13. Wow! Your 2018 IS200 has 145k miles on the clock? I would stick with whatever grade is recommended in the owner's handbook.
  14. Interesting threads on the US forum https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-3rd-gen-2001-2006/550609-question-about-04-ls430-foglight.html https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-1st-and-2nd-gen-1990-2000/625299-what-are-these-lights.html
  15. Adds a bit of illumination into the direction of turning. I found it very useful when negotiating unfamiliar car parks and driveways. It certainly made a difference when driving my two Mercs. If they operate similarly to the Merc they switch sides when reversing, so you can see what you're about to clout with the front wing... I am looking forward to getting cornering lights again on my new RC300h in a couple of months..
  16. If cornering lights you'll need the engine running and steering turned sufficiently to trigger them. Should also come on with the indicator, below a certain speed. That's who they've worked on my cars in the past, admittedly not Lexus though.
  17. Yes https://www.toyota.co.uk/new-cars/camry/specs-and-accessories
  18. Wow, that looks good.. Must resist, must resist...
  19. Had a pleasant little gift arrive today It's the little things that make the difference Happy Easter
