  1. 1 Press the “MENU” button on the Remote Touch. 2 Select “Setup”. 3 Select “Navigation” on the sub menu. 4 Select “Traffic”. (Page 108 of the Nav handbook)
  2. Also doesn't Lexus have a "self-healing" top coat? Perhaps try gentle heat on a small area a see if the swirls diminish?
  3. The car would have shipped with protective film on the big panels, so nothing to touch them until the dealership does the PDI.
  4. Are the pressures in agreement with those shown on the driver's door pillar? Tyre light will only come on if the tyre pressure(s) drop below the benchmark set in the system. If you are 100% sure the pressures are correct (check when cold not driven for at least 2hrs) you can reset the warning by pressing the reset button in the lower dash panel (quite hard to see) Check your handbook for location and procedure.
  5. The azure blue certainly sparkles in the sunshine 😎
  6. Do you have one-piece or two-piece front discs? If you have the latter be aware one cannot use steel wheels as they may distort the aluminium "top hat" of the disc.
  7. Do you have traffic updates set to On in the Setup-Navigation menus?
  8. Front discs on my 2019 RC300h are bigger (14.0" versus 13.1" on the one piece disc according to the build sheets) and they are now two-piece (but not possible to separate the friction rotor from the hub/top-hat section) to promote greater air flow and cooling I've not had the need to test out the ultimate stopping power but would imagine the 2019 spec will handle repeated hard stops better than the 2016 spec. Rear discs and calipers appear to be identical to the older spec model, apart from being orange! Also, just read the info that the two-piece (larger rotor) can only be used with alloy wheels. Steel wheels will cause the top-hat section to deform.
  9. Do you have xenons/LEDs? If so, they would be self-adjusting and no manual adjuster present. Might suggest one or more level sensors have broken (not uncommon) or simply requires adjustment using the screws above the lamps in the front scuttle under the bonnet.
  10. I loved the red on my previous RC Love the subtle differences in the new 2019 model. I'm still finding differences and they are all positive, so far. Lexus still haven't addressed the fact one cannot get into the car without getting soaked when the car has been parked in the rain! Water simply pours off the roof on to the drivers door sill and seat...
  11. As above. Personally only ever bother if I'm using the Sat Nav for journey directions. Plus when tethered SMS notifications are disabled
  12. According to the owner's handbook the rear indicators are LED
  13. How, for the benefit of others who may search this issue?
  14. Techstream might work better? STAR for Mercedes
  15. Any tyre shop would be responsible for replacing a sensor they damage when fitting new tyres it's not something you as a customer needs worry about but as above I would rather go to Lexus dealership, especially if they price match
  16. Illegalities aside, I don't think EU spec cars have this functionality for dealers to enable.
  17. As already said, driving and importing are different in that headlamps need to comply with the requirements of the country. So AFAIK one would need to change to the aprts supplied to cars for those countries.
  18. Not sure it's anything to do with the light's drainage but simply the run-off from the boot seal channel. I simply wipe down after each wash. Lots of Sahara dust in there this week!
  19. Why not indeed but I can't help but think if it were a "service" item it would be included in the manufacturers schedule? You clearly know what you're doing but perhaps another may not be so careful? Unlike the air filter, it's not a simple swap-out.
  20. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" is usually the safest mantra.
  21. According to the Lexus website the Hybrid Health Check does cover the cooling system? LEXUS HYBRID HEALTH CHECK An annual check of your vehicle’s hybrid technology is an excellent way to make sure that the system continues to run at its smoothest and most efficient optimum. We will evaluate the entire Lexus Hybrid Drive system, compiling a comprehensive report with all the information you need to understand its operating status. All details are carefully and clearly explained, and if any part of the system requires work or refinement, this will be discussed along with recommended next steps. 1. HYBRID BATTERY CHECK The system will analyse the performance of the hybrid battery. 2. DRIVE SYSTEM CHECK The system will analyse the efficiency of the drive system. 3. COOLING SYSTEM CHECK The system will analyse the efficiency of the cooling system. https://www.lexus.eu/owners/servicing-and-maintenance/hybrid-health-check/#hybrid-health
  22. I believe the car has to be serviced in accordance with the manufacturer's schedule and use parts " of acceptable quality" with the work done by a VAT registered establishment? If the vehicle is under finance then the block exception does not apply if the finance company require it to be service by Lexus as part of their T&Cs
  23. A vehicle can become unroadworthy the day after the issuing of an MoT certificate. The certificate does not mean the vehicle is currently roadworthy. The offence above would be failing to have a current certificate, not that the vehicle is unroadworthy
