  1. I've found that if I have the phone tethered to get live traffic updates then text messages don't appear. My RC automatically prevents the car rolling back on slopes, nothing to do especially.
  2. Lexus, though I'd be surprised if the Mazda didn't also. It is also possible the disable the keyless entry system in advance, if one knows the car won't be driven for a prolonged period. It's under customisation in the handbook (for my RC at least)
  3. Pretty sure the keyless entry system goes dormant after 10-14 days of not detecting a signal?
  4. Try pages 123-125 but I must admit it's not easily understood without sitting in the car and pressing buttons! Looking at the summary table on page 505 Drive Information 1 can display fuel consumption data and Drive Information 2 can display mileage data. It's not clear if one can mix and match data across screens. It would be interesting to see if one changes the displayed info in the bigger side screen is it reflected in the 'in-dial' screen? Really need to sit in the car and play (something I'm looking forward to as my new RC is now at the dealership!)
  5. If it is possible the options will be documented in the owner's handbook. Have you downloaded the handbook?
  6. Surely you would still only have paid the £400 had you gone through insurance? One only has to pay up to the policy excess, not the excess irrespective?
  7. Do you have auto-wipers? If so check they correctly set-up the new screen and sensor.
  8. On my RC it does this when I haven't tethered my phone as I have set the Nav to automatically download routes from the portal.
  9. Looking at the spec here, they are included - "Textile carpet mats" (Follow the link to Compare Grades - INTERIOR COMFORT & CONVENIENCE ) https://www.lexus.co.uk/car-models/es/prices-and-specifications/
  10. Don't know if these docs help at all? Tyre Pressure ID Registration.pdf Tyre Pressure Warning System Description.pdf
  11. AFAIK one must replace the UK spec lamps with Continental spec to pass the Spanish 'MoT'
  12. Captured this morning https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/photos/picture/ships/3529798/shipid:183906 Yes, sad I know ...
  13. Give your dealership a call, you never know, might be a quick turnaround possible.
  14. The fact the background is moving would suggest it is the F-Sport software. Something else is not programmed correctly, to move the physical ring.
  15. Search out Rocket Bunny https://blog.lexus.co.uk/rocket-bunny-lexus-rc-f-makes-its-world-show-debut/
  16. Wear in the mechanism may allow the glass to move out of correct alignment. I had this on my Merc. Needed a new winder mech and readjustment of the glass alignment. Might be possible to cure just by careful adjustment of the glass, you need to find an experienced independent ..
  17. Hey, that ES 300h F-Sport (Takumi Pack) looks a fantastic, well spec'd car!
  18. Not on EU spec cars. The North Americans do get an app that enables remote control of various functions but AFAIK only plug-in EVs (so not Lexus) have the remote defrost
  19. Lexus does puzzle me sometimes.. My RC300h F-Sport with Takumi pack is approx £1.5k cheaper than the full Takumi grade but has all the spec of the 'higher' grade plus it has AVS Neither the salesman nor I could see what extras the Takumi grade offers!
  20. Yes the UX F-Sport with Takumi pack does have the 360 camera The Takumi pack offered with the ES does not have the 360 camera Those packs are expensive!!
