  1. Do you have xenons/LEDs? If so, they would be self-adjusting and no manual adjuster present. Might suggest one or more level sensors have broken (not uncommon) or simply requires adjustment using the screws above the lamps in the front scuttle under the bonnet.
  2. I loved the red on my previous RC Love the subtle differences in the new 2019 model. I'm still finding differences and they are all positive, so far. Lexus still haven't addressed the fact one cannot get into the car without getting soaked when the car has been parked in the rain! Water simply pours off the roof on to the drivers door sill and seat...
  3. As above. Personally only ever bother if I'm using the Sat Nav for journey directions. Plus when tethered SMS notifications are disabled
  4. According to the owner's handbook the rear indicators are LED
  5. How, for the benefit of others who may search this issue?
  6. Techstream might work better? STAR for Mercedes
  7. Any tyre shop would be responsible for replacing a sensor they damage when fitting new tyres it's not something you as a customer needs worry about but as above I would rather go to Lexus dealership, especially if they price match
  8. Illegalities aside, I don't think EU spec cars have this functionality for dealers to enable.
  9. As already said, driving and importing are different in that headlamps need to comply with the requirements of the country. So AFAIK one would need to change to the aprts supplied to cars for those countries.
  10. Not sure it's anything to do with the light's drainage but simply the run-off from the boot seal channel. I simply wipe down after each wash. Lots of Sahara dust in there this week!
  11. Why not indeed but I can't help but think if it were a "service" item it would be included in the manufacturers schedule? You clearly know what you're doing but perhaps another may not be so careful? Unlike the air filter, it's not a simple swap-out.
  12. According to the Lexus website the Hybrid Health Check does cover the cooling system? LEXUS HYBRID HEALTH CHECK An annual check of your vehicle’s hybrid technology is an excellent way to make sure that the system continues to run at its smoothest and most efficient optimum. We will evaluate the entire Lexus Hybrid Drive system, compiling a comprehensive report with all the information you need to understand its operating status. All details are carefully and clearly explained, and if any part of the system requires work or refinement, this will be discussed along with recommended next steps. 1. HYBRID BATTERY CHECK The system will analyse the performance of the hybrid battery. 2. DRIVE SYSTEM CHECK The system will analyse the efficiency of the drive system. 3. COOLING SYSTEM CHECK The system will analyse the efficiency of the cooling system. https://www.lexus.eu/owners/servicing-and-maintenance/hybrid-health-check/#hybrid-health
  13. I believe the car has to be serviced in accordance with the manufacturer's schedule and use parts " of acceptable quality" with the work done by a VAT registered establishment? If the vehicle is under finance then the block exception does not apply if the finance company require it to be service by Lexus as part of their T&Cs
  14. A vehicle can become unroadworthy the day after the issuing of an MoT certificate. The certificate does not mean the vehicle is currently roadworthy. The offence above would be failing to have a current certificate, not that the vehicle is unroadworthy
  15. I use this one https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/home/centerx:79.2/centery:7.2/zoom:7 You need to know the name of the ship, then enter it in the search box.
  16. Must say the ventilation function works really well in my RC, even through a towelling seat cover! The 2019 model automatically adjusts the seat fan speed when set on max depending on cabin temperature and a/c operation. Left on max can induce cramp in one's posterior!
  17. Can you not adjust the screen display brightness etc? One can on my 2019 ML...
  18. Have tried playing a DVD? Should only work with the car stationary, perhaps even only in Park.
  19. I'm surprised the dealership suggested that as I'm pretty sure the T&C's pertaining to the Gen3 Glasscoat specifically excludes bird lime protection.
  20. Yes I have one for my 2019 RC300h, came as part of the Takumi pack..
  21. I bought easy-on, easy-off covers for my RC. They were a soft Terry towelling material and the heating and ventilation worked fine through them.
  22. I think without the Auto button you won't have the function..
