  1. Drove my RC in the sunshine, with the sunroof open. Beautiful car, beautiful day, beautiful drive... I'm really enjoying my RC300h
  2. Possibly need a new parking sensor but the central radar sensor (behind the Lexus logo) looks untouched. Parking sensor is £80 approx
  3. The new clock in my 2019 RC is rather classy IMHO
  4. Either over the radio TMS or, if your phone is tethered, from the internet. TMS is always active but relies on lorry (mainly) movements. I've found both systems quite accurate at avoiding hold-ups
  5. Have a check here https://www.lexus-tech.eu/Bluetooth/searchdedicated.aspx?lang=en
  6. Sorry, I got the wrong software version! You are correct When I use the phone on long journeys I plug it into the USB power, keeps the battery topped up but my Pixel doesn't get warm. Plus the centre armrest cubby seems to be cooled? Perhaps the same on your NX, you could keep the phone in there?
  7. Can the car's system handle two simultaneous connections? Can you still use you mobile for calls through the car?
  8. You sure? The website doesn't list the S8 and only two Samsung models (S4 and Mega) show as compatible with Connected services via DUN/PAN I know Samsung are problematic when used in Mercedes for anything other than the basics.. Do you have a different phone you could try?
  9. I wonder what the new reg are? The WLTP regs for all new registrations came in Sept/2018 .. CO2 hasn't changed and that's the figure used for VED calculations. ETA - Perhaps it's the RDE (The Real Driving Emissions) tests? Relevant only from 1st September 2019, all new registrations will be subject to RDE testing. My car would have come in just before the requirement.
  10. Have you checked your phone is compatible? https://www.lexus-tech.eu/Bluetooth/searchdedicated.aspx?lang=en
  11. Sounds more like a problem with the dealership, if they're having problems with another marque as well? I had no issues with my new RC registered 2 months back.
  12. Have you tethered your phone to the car and allowed to share it's internet connection?
  13. My 2016 model did come with the protection pack fitted. Mud flaps front & rear, boot liner and cargo net, rubber over-mats and rear bumper plate. I ordered the protection pack for my 2019 model but didn't spot that the pack had changed to include only the boot liner and (rather randomly!) illuminated scuff plates (door sills). That said the illuminated scuff plates are rather smart There were a number of errors in the online specifications namely, AHS & 10-way seats,The former has now been removed but the later persists The Takumi pack is still incorrectly detailed and there still isn't an updated brochure..
  14. I spoke with the Lexus product team and they advised me that the mud flaps for the pre-2019 model will not fit the new model. I can see that the lower profile on the rear wheel arch is different from my previous model but the fronts appear the same but Lexus were adamant they wouldn't fit.
  15. Beautiful interior, great colour combo
  16. My 2019 F-Sport with Takumi came with Dunlops
  17. But if the memory module isn't in place (Why would it be fitted if the option isn't part of the specification?) there's no way for the car to know where to return the mirrors?
  18. Have you approached your dealership?
  19. Indeed but Richard from Comand.co.uk is the guru, often advising the dealerships! He did all my MB upgrades. Some upgrades are not as simple as enabling just that function, often needing other tweaks to subordinate/ancillary functions/routines. Just something to be aware of
  20. Certainly was the case with Mercedes. I had a number of 'upgrades' done simply by software enabling those functions. Whether Lexus dealers would do it I don't know. Mercedes dealers wouldn't as not sanctioned by Germany. One would have to find someone experienced with Techstream and aware of any subtle knock-on effects.
  21. This is usually down to grade differentiation, 'lower' grade models can't have all the options/functions of the 'higher' grade models. Otherwise whats is there to drive prospective buyers to 'upgrade'?
  22. Weren't they rebadged as the Lexus RX in export markets?
  23. Nothing too exceptional, washed it using GEN3 shampoo which curiously doesn't foam at all. It's like washing with plain water. Works brilliantly though. (Those are clouds BTW, )
