  1. Draining from the windscreen scuttle and collecting on the undertrays?
  2. Air con on? Quite normal to see condensate under the car in this humid weather.
  3. I just love driving and quite often take myself out and around the Cotswolds, just for the hell of it! Can be gone for a couple of hours at a time, glorious countryside, great roads. Can't be that far from you in Oxfordshire? If one loves driving one doesn't need a reason to go out. If the car isn't costing you, just to have it sat at home, then hang on a while maybe your enthusiasm will return?
  4. When the car is in charge mode the petrol engine is running and recharging the traction battery and driving the wheels. The car may go into charge mode when braking gently, using regenerative braking. The electric motors are acting as alternators and the mechanical brakes are not operating until the speed drops too low or braking demand increases above what the regen can accommodate
  5. Lexus Swindon have always served me well over two purchases and fours years of ownership. Nothing has been too much trouble. First class from the whole team
  6. That's pretty much how I understood the system operates. I'm sure it's been explained on here before with regard to regen v hydraulic braking.
  7. Routinely see fully charged except for the very last segment.
  8. Perfectly normal, especially in the more humid weather..
  9. Nice! Dressed tyres always lifts even the cleanest, shiniest car. Looks new again
  10. I have no idea but I have used this on my metal bits, to good effect. It works on (virtually) all metals.. MEGUIARS NXT GENERATION ALL METAL POLISH
  11. Seems to be the capacitor for the brake control. Quite probable it's simply discharged due to the flat battery I'm sure @Britprius will be along shortly. https://www.engine-codes.com/c1377_toyota.html Toyota DTC C1377 Question
  12. The IS 500 (not IS-F) https://www.thedrive.com/news/33539/2021-lexus-is-500-will-get-lexus-last-naturally-aspirated-v8-report
  13. If you change the profile without changing the diameter you could run into trouble with the speedometer and odometer accuracy. Not to mention ones insurer if using tyre sizes not specified in the handbook.
  14. Can you open any of the doors and get into the load space? If so the handbook shows how to open the tailgate from inside
  15. Is there no mechanical key to open the tailgate?
  16. It wouldn't be the first time we've had to call the Police because a customer has left a dog in their car. Even after store announcements, no one shows up, so the constable will smash a window to release the poor creature. We tried calling the AA/RAC but they take too long to arrive. We were advised that should a member of the public or store staff break the window it could be construed as criminal damage. The Police are very prompt..
