As above my dealer provided the ship details and I tracked my last two deliveries from Japan. Arrival in the UK and then to the dealer was spot on as predicted.

Perhaps if the seat is already back past a certain point, the exit function doesn't kick in? -
I use a weather radar website, great for timing when rain will arrive. One can watch it's progress, similar to that used by F1 teams. One can still be caught out as rain clouds can form very quickly on occasion. https://www.netweather.tv/live-weather/radar

You could try heating the area, perhaps with a hair drier. Sometimes the clear coat can repair itself and the etching slowly disappears. Other than that I'd suggest a very mild cutting paste, something like Meg's Ultimate Polish.
