  1. I had the same model/year/grade and experienced the same creaking. I just asked the dealership to lubricate the sunroof (it was in for a service) and that sorted it perfectly.
  2. I agree Lexus cars are terrible, they spoil one's experience in any other marque 😉😁
  3. Have you tried adjusting the distance settings? Set to the longest might better match your braking points?
  4. It's worked flawlessly for me every time I've bought from them ..
  5. VED is calculated on the list price for the car when first registered not current market price
  6. I use a Dyson stick vacuum with their auto accessory kit. Powerful enough to get the footwell mats pristine and gentle enough to de-dust the centre console switches etc..
  7. Our driveway is pebbles and the kick sensor works every time, never a problem...
  8. From the LC500 handbook ■CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic) part (if equipped) ●As the CFRP parts may change color if they are exposed to ultraviolet rays for extended periods of time, Lexus recommends that your vehicle be stored in a place where it will not be exposed to direct sunlight. ●Do not use wax that contains abrasives. ●Do not use automatic car washes as they may scratch the CFRP parts and damage the paint.
  9. The cameras are heated and the screens are just inboard of the camera position, so basically one 'looks' at the normal area when checking the door mirrors
  10. I find this very curious, that a Police vehicle would flash it's headlamps for any reason, other than to alert another road user of it's presence, which is the only legitimate reason for doing so (rule 110 Highway Code) which the Police officers would know...
  11. When I'm waiting in this scenario I turn the headlights to sidelights (positional) only.
  12. Why do you want to turn the headlamps 'off'? It costs nothing to keep them on, it's arguably safer to have them on...??
  13. Tyre pressure is to do with axle weight. Try the recommended pressures and see how it feels. Once you settle on a setting keep an eye on the wear...
  14. Can you simply switch on the lights and look to see which one is dim?
  15. I find it hard to believe it would leave the factory with incorrectly set wipers? I'd say that's as designed ...
  16. Owner's manuals are available to download from the Lexus website https://www.lexus.co.uk/owners/about-my-lexus/manuals
  17. Are you sure it was neutral and not park?
  18. The OP's car isn't a hybrid ...
  19. If you always park in the same spot, in the same orientation (front in) how about placing chocks /blocks etc the desired distance from the fence so you can just roll forward until the tyres stop you?
  20. My old driving instructor always told me, "Gears to go, brakes to slow" It's generally cheaper to replace pads and discs than transmission components. As for putting the transmission into neutral, as Andrew says above, more likely to cause additional wear.
  21. Can't you use the parking sensors? These will give a good indicator as to how close you are.
  22. Be careful in using the electronics when in auxiliary mode as you are running on the auxiliary 12v battery alone and it's known that these have little charge reserve. If sat waiting for Mrs NemesisUK I will leave the car in Ready mode and in P and let the traction battery power everything. The ICE will start and stop to maintain the charge level
  23. What make of charger do you have? The likes of CTek are maintenance chargers, designed to be left connected for extended periods of time. The official Lexus advice is attached below. Maintenance of hybrid battery.pdf
  24. Have you tried a Lexus dealership?
  25. "The diesel pump nozzle is bigger than most petrol filler necks, so it doesn't really fit. That makes it far less common to put the wrong fuel in a petrol car than putting petrol in a diesel car." https://www.theaa.com/breakdown-cover/advice/wrong-fuel-advice#:~:text=The diesel pump nozzle is,petrol in a diesel car.
