  1. Are you sure the swan neck isn't secreted somewhere inside the car, behind or underneath the load area trim?
  2. Wonderful speaker, thanks for posting this
  3. Just checked my CTEK charger direct connection kit and it does have an inline fuse in the +ve lead about 5cm from the battery terminal eyelet. Not sure if the boot seals on my CLS55 would be that different from those on a Lexus but I trailed the mains cable from the CTEK through the closed boot seal without issue for approx 4yrs.
  4. Diddling well thank you 😊 trust all well with you
  5. Hybrid cars do not have an alternator, the 12v battery is recharged from the traction battery. How long did you run the car after starting? What is the state of charge of the traction battery? If the 12v battery is the original supplied when the car was new it may well need replacing.
  6. 'Cos you can't see past the cab on the flatbed carrying your Teutonic breakdown..
  7. Personally, I would connect directly to the battery in the boot.
  8. Strife (not mine, obviously!) (just in case she's reading this....)
  9. First thoughts are, window open (even slightly)? Or possibly a spider/fly/moth trapped inside? Also might be a slowly retracting seat belt? My money is on the insect culprit. More technical causes could be failing siren battery?
